I recently got the english version and I have to say: I can't wait for some of these songs to come out. Like I know DAMN well I'm gonna be trying to FC Drop Pop Candy.
Ignoring this because Bang Dream is better. Reasons: 1. Easier to get event members. 2. They got animated cards. 3. They literally had collabs with hololive, 6-9 animes and cover like a bunch of songs from different types of anime songs. 4. Aya and the Pastel Palettes. 5. Poppin Party 6. There's a pass in JP during its 5th anniversary where if you buy the pass, you'll get a dreamfest ticket to choose from every dreamfest character leading to backstage 5 Himari and Aya. So, sucks on that
I love both. Both are good. But I HATE SEKAI'S FLICK NOTES IT'S SO HARD. Bandori is so much easier and simpler. Also bandori art is better imo. Bc of the lightning and shading plus the music in bandori. And the cover songs are better than proseka. It's too good for my ears. Bandori songs literally gives me chills. And it's cheap to lvl up your cards and skills. While Proseka.. yk. I can easily fc most of the songs in bandori. But in Proseka it's harder to fc BC OF THE DAMN FLICK NOTES. Proseka good but where is Tomoe? Bandori good but where's Kaito?
I'll only talk about Free Live (and UI) for both, as I only play Free Live anyways, the Gacha rates are the same, so I have no comparison here Age/UI: The single largest and most defining difference is age. Sekai's UI is very neat and easy to navigate. Bandori feels dated and more akin to an older generation. However, due to this difference, Bandori runs more smoothly than Sekai. There is no way I'm running video with gameplay in Sekai, but in Bandori, I can do that with no worry of a lag spike. Battery is also another concern. Sekai does drain more battery than Bandori. Feeling: I do joke around that Sekai is Chuni-Dori, the fusion of Chunithm and Bandori (Chunithm is one of Sega's rhythm games). This means that Sekai is more freeflowing than Bandori. You could also say Sekai is Bandori 2.0, a way to restart a decent game and make it polished from the start. Gameplay: Bandori, with uniform note size, is easier to read than Sekai (at Master Diffs - 27) However, Sekai has rewarding sliders (See Roki on both for a comparison). As a thumb player, both don't feel hard to me (about 27-28 Bandori, 28-29 Sekai), so I can't see why there is a notable differnce. In short: Both are fine, one has more established gameplay, one has more freeflowing gameplay.
As a thumb player i feel like both have their own amazing options for each player. Like bandoris sfx and frame customization and sekais auto play. I tried bandori first and i agree the sliders are on a whole other level there but it was a bit easier for me to fc much more songs than sekais. I am a new sekai player so i probably just need to get used to the generals of the game itself, i do though enjoy the endless grind in sekai though unlike bandori lmao.
As a vocaloid fan and a bandori player for a long time, when I saw that there was the project sekai it was simply a blessing, I love both games, but being able to watch len whenever I want doesn't compare to anything--
Both are hard to me ;-; and im relatively new to rythem games , i tried bandori and as a thumb player its so annoying like i would go s l i g h t l y to the left and i will miss, i just started playing project sekai yesterday and ;-;-; definitely more thumb player friendly but i cant seem to fc any “hard” songs i always miss one or two, in terms of easiness ensemble stars hold a special place in my heart for being easy to get the hang of and every time after i play bandori or sekai i play enstars with more ease lol
I played Bandori before this game, I'm also fond of rhythm games in general, but what made me like Project Sekai more are the stories. Whil Bandori does have stories and ones in events, they don't really progress much in terms of any of the characters developing aside from the main band stories. With Project Sekai, I can see an immediate difference. They have the stories in the events actively build from the main stories of the groups and you can see their development not only as characters but as a group.
I only just started playing project Sekai and have played Bandori for sooooo long, I like that project Sekai has hot boys because I’m gay and I want a game where I can simp for guys, a game that’s not a otome game like obey me
switched to sekai after 3 years of playing bandori and getting burnt out from how easy the songs were...and saving up for 9 months and still not getting the card I wanted-

Started with bandori when en came out but I much prefer proseka now. I also find bandori easier than proseka. The only lvl 31 songs I can (consistently) clear are rolling girl and Dappou rock
The thing is I got this on my phone and it lagged so horribly that multilive wasn't an option. I uninstalled it the same day. I recently tried reinstalling Bandori though and it kept crashing so oh well lmao now I get neither

I recently got the english version and I have to say: I can't wait for some of these songs to come out. Like I know DAMN well I'm gonna be trying to FC Drop Pop Candy.
Ignoring this because Bang Dream is better.
Reasons:
1. Easier to get event members.
2. They got animated cards.
3. They literally had collabs with hololive, 6-9 animes and cover like a bunch of songs from different types of anime songs.
4. Aya and the Pastel Palettes.
5. Poppin Party
6. There's a pass in JP during its 5th anniversary where if you buy the pass, you'll get a dreamfest ticket to choose from every dreamfest character leading to backstage 5 Himari and Aya.
So, sucks on that
11. They have Wonderlands x Showtime. But on the other hand, Bandori has HaroHapi.... these two are the other side of the same coin.
I'll only talk about Free Live (and UI) for both, as I only play Free Live
anyways, the Gacha rates are the same, so I have no comparison here
Age/UI:
The single largest and most defining difference is age.
Feeling:
I do joke around that Sekai is Chuni-Dori, the fusion of Chunithm and Bandori (Chunithm is one of Sega's rhythm games). This means that Sekai is more freeflowing than Bandori. You could also say Sekai is Bandori 2.0, a way to restart a decent game and make it polished from the start.
Gameplay:
Bandori, with uniform note size, is easier to read than Sekai (at Master Diffs - 27)
However, Sekai has rewarding sliders (See Roki on both for a comparison).
As a thumb player, both don't feel hard to me (about 27-28 Bandori, 28-29 Sekai), so I can't see why there is a notable differnce.
In short:
Both are fine, one has more established gameplay, one has more freeflowing gameplay.
bandori has kaoru
As a thumb player i feel like both have their own amazing options for each player. Like bandoris sfx and frame customization and sekais auto play. I tried bandori first and i agree the sliders are on a whole other level there but it was a bit easier for me to fc much more songs than sekais. I am a new sekai player so i probably just need to get used to the generals of the game itself, i do though enjoy the endless grind in sekai though unlike bandori lmao.
yeah but is there rinko shirokane in project sekai? didn’t think so
Both bandori and pjsekai are incredibly hard for me as my fingers have been trained to the scratch and slide mess of d4dj
Opposite for me, D4DJ's scratches and sliders helped me with flicks in Sekai.
why project sekai is better than bandori:
1. does bandori have tenma siblings? no
2. no tenma siblings
3. NO TENMA SIBLINGS
tbh could’ve stopped at 2 and i’d be convinced
Wake up the reality bro
Offended lmao
as a player of both its so obviously a joke chill
As a vocaloid fan and a bandori player for a long time, when I saw that there was the project sekai it was simply a blessing, I love both games, but being able to watch len whenever I want doesn't compare to anything--
11. It has KAITO, hot KAITO cards, Ifuudoudou KAITO cover, KAITO exists
It’s the 3D for me. I want to dress them and watch them perform while playing. And Len.
bandori better bc it doesnt have m*n
reason 1 and the only reason i need: the stamps MEAN THINGS. AND THEYRE RELEVANT. I WANT TO SAY "Hello!" NOT "Mmmmmmmm," OR "The ultimate...!"
Yeah, sekai is better but where's the overseas localization
BY THE END OF THIS YEAR THE DEVS SAID 😭
Wait it just got released a bunch of days ago-
Late October
@@sayfridge ...so the one I downlaoded is still the overseas beta I guess-
@@KoroKunP that one is a beta yeah I've tried too And it's not gonna be able to be played from Oct 19
1. it has saki tenma
yeah
Both are hard to me ;-; and im relatively new to rythem games , i tried bandori and as a thumb player its so annoying like i would go s l i g h t l y to the left and i will miss, i just started playing project sekai yesterday and ;-;-; definitely more thumb player friendly but i cant seem to fc any “hard” songs i always miss one or two, in terms of easiness ensemble stars hold a special place in my heart for being easy to get the hang of and every time after i play bandori or sekai i play enstars with more ease lol
the way half these comments are just “project sekai is better because **male character** is in it” 💀💀💀💀
I played Bandori before this game, I'm also fond of rhythm games in general, but what made me like Project Sekai more are the stories. Whil Bandori does have stories and ones in events, they don't really progress much in terms of any of the characters developing aside from the main band stories. With Project Sekai, I can see an immediate difference. They have the stories in the events actively build from the main stories of the groups and you can see their development not only as characters but as a group.
I lost my account TWICE in bandori, but not in sekai
I only just started playing project Sekai and have played Bandori for sooooo long, I like that project Sekai has hot boys because I’m gay and I want a game where I can simp for guys, a game that’s not a otome game like obey me
hahahaaha ok but does bandori have akito?? no haha
I think the coolest part about sekai is that the lives do give subtitles in global for people that don’t know Japanese!
1:29 totally not... ._.
Edit: I don't know what you guys think, but I love bandori more and like it better that pjsk...!!! :)
switched to sekai after 3 years of playing bandori and getting burnt out from how easy the songs were...and saving up for 9 months and still not getting the card I wanted-
What is bandori?
(Nevermind. I saw)
"Thumb friendly" i really agree with this 👍👍
But at least the tuning of bandori is good unlike proseca😂💀
Is NOBODY gonna talk about how the bar in Bandori is like small asf
My reasons
1- stupid thumb players like me can gaming
2- Better gambling psyichs!1
3- Airi Momoi
4- Shizuku Hinomori
5- Haruka Kiratani
6- Minori Hanasato
7- both the boys and girls are pretty
8- The stories
9- A lot of commissioned songs made by amazing producers!1!
10- Mmj storyline
:me furiously waiting for pjsekai global release on December 7th:
Thumb friendly?…
Uhm. Guys? Uhm… *guys?*
i had to RE LEARN how to play bandori once i started playing proj sekai… its insanely hard all of a sudden 😭
11- project sekai doesnt sexualize minors
edit:(it is questionable how much proseka doesnt sexualize minors)
ik nothing about bandori but they do that to their characters? 😭
Started with bandori when en came out but I much prefer proseka now. I also find bandori easier than proseka. The only lvl 31 songs I can (consistently) clear are rolling girl and Dappou rock
1. miku
2. miku
3. miku
4. back to number 1
5. hatsune miku
The thing is I got this on my phone and it lagged so horribly that multilive wasn't an option. I uninstalled it the same day. I recently tried reinstalling Bandori though and it kept crashing so oh well lmao now I get neither
reasons why bandori is better than pjsk: kaoru /hj
No emu otori better 😘😍😍
