What Mocha Uson doesn’t understand is the impact of conflict of interest. There is already a law (the Republic Act cited by Senator Nancy Binay) that encompasses restrictions on delivering personal opinion once you have a position in the local government. I remember this topic being discussed in our Social Science 2 class back in UP, wherein those individuals who seek to have a position in the government should refrain and set aside their previous or personal activities, so that they can effectively serve the people and perform their duties and responsibilities as mandated by the Government, hence avoiding conflict of interest. Mocha should read that reference book titled “The Great Political Theories” by Michael Curtis. Now I wonder why the current administration called their line up of government officials “The Best and the Brightest”. Mocha Uson is even far below mediocre government official.
