You are in fact correct! Middle class here and it’s a weird ass place to be. You have to increase your income . No food stamps, no day care . No assistance. You have to figure it out on your own. Strive to be rich … middle class you sleep when you die.
I hate to say it because this is so true. I am a single middle class mother and you are not lying. All my money go to bills, food and bills. By the end, I only have gas money. And I get good money🤷🏾♀️it’s just everything else is high.
people are confusing rich with comfortable middle class. When you’re middle class you work for your money but when you’re rich your money works for you.
I’ve been middle class all my life; middle class has been very good for me and my kids. I’m not struggling. I don’t have to see what bill I’m gonna pay; if I can buy groceries or put gas in my car! my life is good‼️‼️‼️
I've always been middle class and have a very good support system. However, it gets hard and budgeting is a must. Insurance and Dr's visits will set you back. For example, getting braces for the kids or surgery. I wouldn't be on assistance because I am a hard worker but I get discouraged at times. Sometimes I want to be irresponsible or buy my kids something that is not fiscally responsible and it makes me feel bad but I know in the long run my kids will not know homelessness, hunger, or adult stress. I just wish there were incentives for middle class families like home repair help. Assistance when you lose a job, things like that. I have not experienced these things but would like the resources if some bad happens in life and know that they are there.
@PeachMcIntryre I NEED THIS VERSION OF YOU TO SHOW UP TO WORK EVERYDAY ALL DAY!!! THIS IS THE PEACH THAT I KNOW AND LOVE!!!! I absolutely LOVE this video! Please keep this up baby!!
As someone who is living in a neighborhood where most people are low income and we fall in the middle class range with a husband and myself both working I 1000% agree everyone around me receives food assistance and assistance from the state we do not and the struggle is real
No, you are incorrect. If you are making below 30,000 do you know they consider that really poor and they consider 50,000 and above middle class people that are very very poor getting food stamps and sitting on their ass sending their kids to daycare for free and then you have the rich who ain’t giving nothing back. Peach is absolutely correct.!
Never thought I'd agree with this until today. My sons formula is $1200 a month....he was on wic because he was born at 27 weeks with a host of complications. However he no longer qualifies for wic because I pay for medicaid because I "make too much". Who can afford 1200 a month for formula. And his meds cost 6k each..... please
@jamaicabea9048 I'm so sorry. This is the stuff that angers me. Children with certain conditions must have programs to help them. You now have the doctor bills from multiple places and the formula bill. My baby was born early and was tiny the doctor made me see him twice a week, which resulted in a 500 dollar bill a week due to a deductible. I was making payments, and one day, the front desk staff yelled at me to pay in front of other patients. I just git quiet and cried. I spoke to the office manager and wrote a letter with no response and never went back.
I agree! Being middle class is more of a struggle because we do NOT get the resources as the lower class because we “make to much” ppl may get mad but i honestly wish they would stop helping the lower class who are able body but choose not to go harder and help the middle class who is actually going above and beyond!
Me and husbae bust our ssa to stay on top. The more we work, the more Uncle sam takes. I had brain surgery in 2005. As soon as I thought I felt better, I was back at work. My husbae has had a heart attack, and right back at work. Just so we wouldn't have to go on the system with people looking down at us like we were less than. It's really hard out here, and I applaud anyone who can keep their heads above water
“I speak on it Because I thought it through and I lived it” -Peach McIntyre 💯 This is why I like Peaches she has the ability to speak truth through experience and observation like a normal logical thinking person. Not easily convinced or coerced, much like myself. The True definition of “blessed with the gift of discernment!”
I'm 51 no children and middle class and make decent 💰 but struggling. You are absolutely right I'm robbing Peter to pay Paul so many things I have to pay back from loans taxes and people. I also gamble as well thinking, if I just get a nice hit nope. I'm putting myself in deeper holes. Oh yeah and my car is still acting up and when you get paid every two weeks it's gone before you even get it.
I've always been low or middle income. When I got older I realized I was going to retire early. I got a job with 401k and saved my money. It's a mind set, you can do whatever you put your mind to. Peach you're not a single mom you have a husband, your life should be good!!!
I REFUSE To ever be on the SYSTEM! I ain’t NEVER EVER going to let NO MF think that they have the right to be up in my business! I am “WORKING CLASS” I don’t know who changed it to “MIDDLE CLASS “, but I have worked for over 44 years raised my 2 sons, my God daughter and still help them raise their 17 children and am about to retire in a few months when I turn 60. I will be able to live the same comfortable life that I have lived , not counting getting Social Security in the future! By the way…. I don’t have a College degree! I had my oldest son 3 days after I turned 19. And my starting pay was 3.35 an hour! I have worked my way up in the job market, 28 jobs, 43 years later to making over 40 dollars an hour. So I choose “WORKING CLASS “! All day every day! Besides NO RICH PERSON CAN GO TO HEAVEN!
This is why I love her she speaks the truth and sees the truth. She is 100 percent correct. He kids are smart and respectful because she has raised the right. I hope everything works out you come back on top and never mess up again. I want to see great things for you and your family.
I totally agree. I’m currently a single mother that is a middle class work worker. I live paycheck to paycheck and I gotta make every dollar stretch. I’m too busy finding out ways to make that dollar stretch while low income and rich folks. Don’t even have to worry about that.. I have a good job, but I have to work so much to the point where I don’t even have a social life or a life at all work is my life. I think about it every single day. What if I just quit become low income and have all the resources that I can possibly ask for?. Or become rich and be able to afford not only to have time to myself before my child. And now that we have so much corruption in our government, they don’t give two shits about us middle class folks.. all I wanna do is just live my life and be able to do it without any worries or having to stress about when I’m gonna pay this bill. I’m literally working to pay bills and taxes so other folks can read the benefits.. every word you said was spot on.
I’m middle class also and I just realized I pay all my own bills and that’s why I’m poor along with not getting any child support. Latino women and Amish women don’t have to part with their money but black women do and it’s because our men don’t step up and make it easier for us and the workplace is hostile and corrupt so that causes us stress and depression and then it starts to show in our attendance and absence and then they want us gone! A loving and consistent village along with a husband that’s financially stable is what makes the difference. When we women have to spend our money and it’s the only reliable income then that’s a disaster waiting to happen! Living on your own will make you broke sometimes! Prayer changes things! 🙏!
Also it's a downside to being poor receiving benefits ! If shit hit the fan they can rip the rug from under you whenever ! It's really a 2 edge sword ! Atleast being middle class you should have some type of cushion, I would think .
The only downside of being poor enough to receive public assistance is that you have to remain in that place to continue to receive help basically stunting your financial growth! But if you take complete advantage of the system, go to school for free, receive free healthcare and childcare you’ll be able to transition out of the system much easier than most. Being middle class and having to pay for EVERYTHING it’s very difficult to create a cushion!
Rich is only a state of mind! You can work your ass off and as long as your working you aren’t rich! When you are rich you don’t work you live off your profits!!!
You’re right! I used to work in the financial aid office at a college and the kids whose parents were middle-class didn’t receive financial aid and had to pay for college out-of-pocket which was astronomically high and their parents couldn’t afford it even after both the student and parent took out loans.
You can say what ever you like! You still have a poor mindset! You have no assets whatsoever! You talk this same talk! Your kids don’t have stability whatsoever. One moment you say McKay can take his time growing up the next minute you’re forcing him to do something like drive when he is clearly not ready yet. Because of your bad choices! You’re all talk. You can make money but you can’t keep it! Making money in my opinion for you has been a curse.
I agree completely the younger generation doesn't have a chance to access some of these programs because some seniors had the mindset to stay on these programs until they die.
Peach is right about the middle class, but not all middle class individuals or families struggle when there two incomes 70k and up, and the state you live in makes a world of difference! Single parent middle class moms don’t all struggle, with or without child support. The ones who struggle is because everything is on them and their salary isn’t enough! The amount of debt, car loans (driving a Benz vs a Nissan), insurances, daycare, groceries, utilities, mortgage or rent can be managed without the struggle! The biggest problem is credit card debt, eliminate the debt, consolidate or file bankruptcy, regulate your spending habits by bringing your lunch to work and preparing lunch for your kids, but sometimes paying for lunch can be more cost effective! Give up Starbucks and cable and put that money towards your vacations! I’ve seen people who make about 100k or more a year, live paycheck to paycheck, and their building went condo and didn’t have a down payment as an attorney. The middle class pays the bulk of the taxes, you know the rich don’t and poor can’t! But as much as it is a struggle for some, it’s better than being poor because of the kinds of mindsets you’re exposed to versus living a middle class life! Everyone will not become a successful content creator, a rich reality TV star, baller or entertainer, or business owner, but you can always upgrade your lifestyle with books, travel (from road trips and national parks to Europe, Africa or Asia) culinary gifts, a clean home, having manners, social graces, and empathy and less judgment! Self-care is the driving force to living an enriched life, so with or without becoming rich (something a lengthy illness can wipe out), make your life special while your riches multiply!😊
Omg, I’m glad I saw this and didn’t take what I heard to heart because I was mad as hell when I heard what she said. But to see this that makes complete sense and it’s sad but so true. I was half way middle class and a single mom of one child. ALL of my money went to bills. We ate by popping up at family and friends houses around dinner time. At other times we’d only eat once a day. When we had the opportunity we would get food boxes from local churches around the city. It was hard. I still sometimes rely on food boxes now.
I’m definitely middle class and I agree with everything you said. However, I’ll stay middle class I’ve been that class all my life so I don’t know how to be anything else definitely don’t want to live in the projects around the pookies and the Ray-rays 😂😂😂😂
Peach doesn’t realize that the “middle class” she defined is really known as the “working poor”. She don’t know what she don’t know… I suggest she read the book Rich Dad, Poor Dad. She owns nothing of value, yet defines herself as “rich”.
Ima keep it real just like you are keeping real…This one of the realest ish I have EVER heard you say!! STRAIGHT ALL FACTS!! If you spoke realest like this instead of some the most degrading things, you would be Phenomenal! Well explained! 👍🏾
Hey, I totally agree. That's why I didn't have a bunch of kids. I was a one hitter quitter. I didn't want to fall into needing assistance, needing section 8 needing school lunch. Now, I can say I'm middle class with no kids and no assistance and live comfortably and plenty of cushion. I will be able to retire at 60.
Ave listened to every word and I can appreciate them - aha I do know is that the bpost person to teach you and you should listen to or take heed is one who has been where you are trying go - I admire you & have been watching you a long time - am not rich nor low income because I make too much on SSI - go figure - still need help - she is real people and you need to get a grip and strive to get or want better and do the best you cam - be glad someone is sharing - I appreciate all she said --it made me think
I get what you are saying peach about low and middle but peach 🍑 you have never been rich and I am saying this by the real real definition of rich I think you’ve been able to be very comfortable but not rich hun and when you have had the lump sums you have made very poor decisions I pray that this time around you get a financial advisor
I say the same exact thing!! And I found that out when I got laid off at work. I make pretty good money considering, but not enough to save. BUT after I got laid off, I qualified for all this "free stuff." I literally had more money in my pocket laid off than working. That's when I woke up and realized middle class had it the hardest. Also, as she's stated, when you are rich, you're simply good!
Currently we are all living beyond our means unwillingly because the government is working AGAINST US. There’s a lot of people one incident from being on the street. If you aren’t one of those thank God for covering you. No one’s experience, situation, support or finances are the same
So very true I've been middle class, it was all of what you said. Told myself this. Now I'm back down and disabled with excellent perks. Disabled don't get food stamps though.
You are not lying I have been working Full Time since 15 1/2 and I never can get assistance bc they say I make too much even if I make $16/hr. and I am taxes like hell. I also don't have children so always paying back taxes and never received taxes back so each dollar I have is literally sweat and tears. Then the ones with a child get $6,000 back in taxes and ask me for money 👀 but you are right it's like you are penalized for doing the right thing
I totally agree. Low income gets all the help. Middle class gets no help. Rich don’t need the help. The system needs to be revamped. I know people who have been on the government assistance program for generations. It’s a way of life at this point. They don’t know how to live without it. And I know middle class working hard and can never get ahead. We must take a second look at the system and reassess what it’s for. I totally agree with Peach on this subject.
You know you’re absolutely right middle class got the hardest job out of everything you said was correctly right and singer citizens they might get $1200 a month and they might give them 11 or $15 in food stamps. Why people with children sit on their butts at the house keep having kids that they don’t have to work and keep getting everything free and then they get tax returns and they like you said they get free lunch for school
I'm very much lower class and relying on government assistance and struggling terribly, I'd much rather be middle class and struggling. There is a huge stigma attached to being lower class and receiving government benefits. So many people think we enjoy living this way and we are lazy, don't want better, etc. That being said, I'd rather be struggling middle class with no government benefits.
And Trump is trying to end all of the low-income “benefits”you named: Section 8, head-start, SNAP, etc. So it’s always wise to work for and have your own.
You are in fact correct! Middle class here and it’s a weird ass place to be. You have to increase your income . No food stamps, no day care . No assistance. You have to figure it out on your own. Strive to be rich … middle class you sleep when you die.

I'm middle class and it sucks
It needs to go viral AGAIN!!!!
If you are robbing Peter yo pay paul that means you r leaving above your means
Currently we are all living beyond our means unwillingly because the government is working AGAINST US. There’s a lot of people one incident from being on the street. If you aren’t one of those thank God for covering you. No one’s experience, situation, support or finances are the same
Yes you are absolutely correct! This is sooo true!
So very true I've been middle class, it was all of what you said. Told myself this. Now I'm back down and disabled with excellent perks. Disabled don't get food stamps though.
Am middle class and I don't have any problems paying my Bill's, but I don't have 9 kids either
Right me either
Neither did she when she made the post in 2017. 😂
I agree with you for sure 100% ❤
I learned the hard way too. You ain't alone.😂🎉😂
You have experience life and the truth is the truth, it’s appreciated.
So basically middle class is poor.
I am low income I don’t qualify for ANYTHING.What you say about healthcare is real I’ve been there I am there.
Sooooo true on every level omgeeee 😩 you nailed it!
I mean….it does make sense…
Peach you better teach. You spoke some true facts there💯💯💯💯💯
U got that right peach you are wise you have learned your lesson luv u peach
I totally agree. Low income gets all the help. Middle class gets no help. Rich don’t need the help. The system needs to be revamped. I know people who have been on the government assistance program for generations. It’s a way of life at this point. They don’t know how to live without it. And I know middle class working hard and can never get ahead. We must take a second look at the system and reassess what it’s for. I totally agree with Peach on this subject.
I agree with you 100%.
Thanks for sharing with us that's what I about you keep it 💯 keep chasing that 💰 Peach
Most middle class do not see themselves as low class and you’re either wealthy or low class. Middle class is shrinking, rapidly!
True !!!! Facts 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Real Talk Peach‼️ 💯💪🏾❤️
This was good info ❤
Sounds like a high ranking poor class it's crazy, the system isn't broken, its right where they want it for the masses.
It’s designed that way
This is just life, your rich and you still have struggles, life may be hard but it’s not good to want everything for free
Listen she ain’t lying!
WOW I love it. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽💐💐😁😁
You are absolutely correct. 😢😢😢😢😢
A word Peaches!! This was a word right here
Girl I feel this so much like that is facts , it’s harder in middle class I agree , I want to try and achieve my goal in having the money.
