i moved to the other side of the world

In this entry I talk about fear and its connection to freedom.
I never made a conscious decision to become a traveler, but the feeling of living outside of societal expectations is what beckoned me down this path. I’ve learned that to be free is to confront fear. To be free is to know that you will probably fall, but still try anyway. And even though I continue to fall, I am learning to trust myself more. I am learning to say yes to new experiences and then trust that things will work out.
And little by little, I am noticing that with each step forward, I am becoming less afraid and more free.
