I tuned up a 1990's Ibishu Pessima to have thick wheels, AWD, 30PSI of boost, about 400 Kw of nitrous oxide, and it gas no body pannels, gets around 8.3 seconds at 190 MPH. It's my 2nd fastest unmodded car.
Nice, I'll be doing a FWD and AWD video as part of this series before its done so I'm looking forward to trying that Pessima out. Curious, what's your fastest unmodded car?
I’ve got a 6.6 second vanilla civetta (completely stripped except the front window cause the window gives just enough down force to stop it from lifting up) Its best with a third gear clutch drop and all the nitrous you can shove in it.
Thats flying for sure. I think I reworked the gearing on mine to make it possible to launch it in 1st and setting it up to spin the tires a bit rather than power wheelies seems to help too. Between the screaming clutch dumps and clicking through the gears, its probably the most fun car to take down the strip.
Well that makes me feel good thanks 😁 Sounds like you got it running pretty good on your own, the D-Series isn't the easiest vehicle to tune for the strip.
Unfortunately a lot of the engines have been nerfed in the recent update, most of the cars here will likely blow today with the setups used here. I hope that gets fixed or rolled back to what it was.
I would recommend you use the option to start the cars with cold engines if your not already, that may be the issue. The Moonhawk's got a short fuse and will usually start hurting itself by the time it gets to the finish line, starting cold should at least keep it from blowing up.
They come up on the boards automatically at this track as long as you take the tree and don't go red or cross the center. I have multiple cameras setup I can switch to so I can see them. They'll work in replays as well as long as you let the video run between staging and finishing.
Some of the rims are lighter/heavier than others and the cars weight does effect performance, so I think so. Its not a huge difference but every bit does help.@@khosho820
Good question, I've only really run these things the full 1/4 on the racetracks and haven't got back to most of them since the devs added the timeslip app, so I really can't say what the times look like. If they un-nerf the engine's in an upcoming update I'll bring them back and find out. Most of these cars would blow up by half track if they're even able to get off the starting line as the game is now.
@shiftsandgiggles not sure if the timeslip app works for 1/8th. But adamsadvanceddistancetimer has 1/8 and 1/4 along with 60ft time, works great for drag racing
I need to spend a little more time with the Scintilla first, it seemed to be the most effected by all the updates since I last ran it, once I've worked that out, I'll probably do something with it.
This Burnside is Gavril powered anyway, it's using the 423 CUI engine just like the Bluebuck and Barstow, without mods the only available engines for it are the Gavril motors.
@@shiftsandgigglesyou can actually max out the moonhawks nos with the rpm, I maxed out everything on the engine, stage 3 block and stage 4 supercharger and it didn’t explode, also, i saw a guy with a 220mph bolide, should try to make a build
Thanks, I gave the Moonhawk a try and yeah, you can run the 448 on full send now, I'll include that in something soon. I've built a Bolide a while ago that run mid 7's at 199-200 mph without mods, I'll likely give that another try sometime as well.@@jordanwilliams2557

Nice. Should do all the vanilla cars as well, I’m going to try a no mod build and see how I go.
Good luck, I've really enjoyed doing it and there's so much more to try. By Vanilla cars do you mean stock versions of these car?
@@shiftsandgiggles nah like all the other standard beam cars like mirramar, etk, covet etc etc with no mods.
@@beamsupreme993 I get what you mean, I have been playing around with some of those recently, so I'll likely do that.
I'm going to be honest that best time you have for the d series truck is hard to beat. I made about 100 passes last night, and could only get 7.66
Well that makes me feel good thanks 😁

Ah yes, the Gravel D Series, Dory Burnside, George GR Marshall, Broke AI Bastion, Gravel Barow, Glavel BlueBu and Brikel Moonhawk my beloved 😍😍😍
ayy now i can smoke opponents in beammp

Make sure your not starting with a preheated engine maybe?
I remove the bumpers on the older cars there heavy 🪨 I'm curious how much of a different that actually makes TBH
Every bit of weight you can remove does help, I just leave them on to keep the cars as street or stock appearing as I can.
