I'd give that a go. Dimocarpus longan, commonly known as the longan (/ˈlɒŋɑːnˈ/) and dragon's eye, is a tropical tree species that produces edible fruit.[3] It is one of the better-known tropical members of the soapberry family Sapindaceae, to which the lychee and rambutan also belong.[3] The fruit of the longan is similar to that of the lychee, but less aromatic in taste.[4] It is native to tropical Asia and China.
Rice pudding, black rice, no problem, but Longan? That's a new one for me!!
Same with me. I’d never heard of longan before…. Definitely something I’d like to try on its own in the future. All the best mate 😊👍🏼

It’s definitely worth trying. Usual, but tasty. Interesting, thanks. I’d like to try a longan on its own, to compare with a lychee 😊👍🏼
Yeah, you big tease. OK it looks a little strange. You can always eat it in the dark as long as it doesn’t taste too bad OK OK fine.
😂 It was pretty good, after you got used to the taste 🤪
