Alright guys, I didn’t think I’d have to address this but a couple things 1- my dog barks at every noise at night and won’t stop until whatever he’s barking at is gone. 2- I did check up on him and he was absolutely fine and also very proud of all the barking he was doing 3- I tried calling him in to sit with me but he preferred to stay by the window 4- and lastly, I don’t live alone so I wasn’t worried because my dog was not alone Hope that helps anyone who got worried
Glad you are protected but I can't help but wonder if your neighbors are disturbed by the barking. I have a neighbor who has a dog that barks uncontrollably. I called the police to speak with him as my son diagnosed with autism is afraid of dogs and I thought if the police would explain that he would control his dog. As a result he got 2 more dogs, total of 3 as a result and has been very defiant. Sometimes neighbors inconsideration and lack of compassion is astounding.
@texasps91 the houses in my area are at a few minutes walking distance from one another, so thankfully nobody has any problems with the barking 😅 I understand it would be very annoying if my neighbours dog was barking all night right next to my house
Dog being like: "I have a particular set of skills. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. Like ruining a movie with my unjustified non-stop barking."
Can be confusing though. I was watching a film noir where a window got broken and a steam locomotive whistle sounded. I was sure it was crucial to the plot (the crime could only have happened at a certain time because of when the train passed etc.)….. Nothing! I found out much later that it was a vintage steam-powered boat, which just happened to pass my real-life home in my real-life life, at that precise moment.
The dog knew all the time what was up. I also liked the parts where horrifying things are happening while a petrified but smiling Minnie is blending with the picture.
Good one, Aria! I enjoyed rewatching this with you. My Dad always told us kids that nothing good happens after midnight. It's crazy out there. Be safe! Thanks for sharing this one. 🙂
Although he played Darkman in 1990, this movie launched the action career of Liam Neeson (Unknown, Non-Stop, Run All Night). It was so successful that it also launched a new trend of Taken-like revenge movies (including a few from the same producers): Colombiana with Zoe Saldana, The Equalizer with Denzel Washington, John Wick with Keanu Reeves, The Gunman with Sean Penn, 3 Days To Kill with Kevin Costner, Stolen and Tokarev with Nicolas Cage, I Am Wrath with John Travolta, Peppermint with Jennifer Gardner. Neeson's best post-Taken movies are The Grey, A Walk Among The Tombstones and The Commuter.
Liam Neeson was 56 when he filmed this. He had done action roles in the past but was primarily known as a dramatic actor. The success of this film (and series) sort of changed the current moviegoers public view of him. It also seemed to trigger the emergence of similar films...also with older actors in the lead roles like Denzel Washington in The Equalizer and Keanu Reeves in John Wick. You should watch his portrayal of legendary Scottish figure Rob Roy (1995). It was largely overshadowed by Braveheart that came out the following month and ended up winning 7 Oscars.
He remembered that his daughter shouted out about one of the guys had a hand tattoo....and his voice saying "good luck ". Also, later in the scene.... Liam not only plays dead....but lays up under one of the dead guys. Like it's just piled up bodies.
Yes, a very solid action movie, thanks to Liam Neeson. Two very good movies have been recommended here already, "Strange Days" by Kathryn Bigelow and "The Equalizer" (the first one). I liked both very much. Strange Days is kind of a hidden gem. VERY underrated. And while I am at it: I hate surfer movies. And movies with Patrick Swayze. But Kathryn Bigelow did one movie, that is both, and STILL I would recommend it. "Point Break". Well, it also has Keanu Reeves and Lori Petty in it, and, yes, it is so well done, that it is a surfer movie I actually fully recommend. If you need some vacation. For the eyes. Watch it. Best regards, and thank you for the entertaining reaction. Loved the gestures you made to communicate with your dog. LOL. Have a great week. 🙂
Are we absolutely sure Aria isn't the villain in this episode? The dog might have been barking because Mickey hired Liam to get Minnie back, but her gang of hired thugs thwarted him.
I actually got into an online relationship with a man from Saudi Arabia. He wanted me to travel there to meet him and his family, and I was close to doing it. Luckily I found out, almost by accident that women have no rights and loses all of her possessions there! If a woman travels there without a man, after she arrives she can't leave because she is assigned a male guardian for life or until another male takes over, who will make all of her decisions for her and she needs his permission to do ANYTHING! After I was told that I changed my mind!
@@paulcarfantan6688 It was last year before my birthday so I was still 28! I just got lucky before I bought a plane ticket to find information about how women in the Middle East, and ESPECIALLY areas including Saudi Arabia, that we have ZERO rights and are assigned a male guardian for life or until he is replaced with another male! So that was enough to change my mind as I didn't want to become an "INVOLUNTARY" slave for the rest of my life! 😉😉👱♀👱♀👗👗👠👠❤❤
@@shanialover Boy, did you ever get lucky, indeed. Otherwise you would be presently stuck there and for a long time, most probably your whole life. He didn`t want her to and as far as I know, she`s still stuck there. Knowledge is everything, you dodged one heck of a bullet. Cheers.

Excellent action movie. Liam Neeson is an excellent action actor. Try any of the "Transporter" movies staring Jason Statham (spl?) different star but just as much fun. Excellent reaction as usual. Best of luck with the dog.
Hi Aria. Great reaction! The other films in this franchise are okay, but I don't believe they were as good as this first one. One movie franchise that I would recommend watching (if you haven't already seen it), is 'The Equalizer' starring Denzel Washinton. The first movie has a similar vibe to this film that I believe you would appreciate. I believe that it has been recommended to you already, but I figured that I would mention it as well. Again, great reaction. 🙂

Fantastic as always. I suggest you should look into the movie „Strange Days“ by Kathryn Bigelow with Ralph Fiennes, Angela Basset, Tom Sizemore, Michael Wincott, Vincent D‘Onoforio and William Fichtner.
You probably couldn't see it since you were busy watching the movie, but Minnie was making faces at the dog the whole time, so if you're looking for someone to blame for the barking...
"I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. Ironically, not only was the film a massive hit, but created a new on-screen image for Neeson as an action hero. Action Star Fact: Liam Neeson performs many of his own stunts. The martial art style used by Liam Neeson is Nagasu Do, a hybrid martial art style that borrows from Judo, Aikido, and Jiu Jitsu.
I still find it kind of funny that they want to sell us his daughter as a 17 years old, she looks more like 30. 😀 But besides that, a great straight-forward somehow oldschool revenge movie. this film would have been perfect if he'd been locked up at the end in prison. He killed about 20 people, including a Sheik and shot a policeman's wife. even if they had all been involved in trafficking he would not be walking around free.
