The game is louder because in 2006 the cars had proper engines unlike 2016.

Well, back in 2006, they used N/A (Naturally Aspirated) engines but, now we have Turbos. That is the only reason why there is a difference in sound. If we used N/A V6's, we would still get that scream, just a different tone and dynamic due to a smaller capacity engine and the rev limit.
So maybe the real question is: Turbo or N/A???
This is completely unsaid: Grand Prix 3, effectively f1 98, used to be some good fun, but there are massive crashes every race. Massive.

The younger generation of fans who taking 2012 over 06 shows they missed out on real F1. Please do F1 06. If you must do F1 2012, though, please do it as M. Schumacher.

I feel like this game is more complete and more fun, than f1 2016. The manual pit stop is amazing, I don't know why they don't put it in the new games and I don't know, I just feel like this game even though is older, it's more complete. Thank you Tiamentmarduk - hopefully, we will see more videos with this game. (sorry if I didn't express myself properly, 2nd language)

Liam Karu you can reach to those teams. In my career on F1 2012, I started on Marussia and by the Hungarian gp, Toro Rosso bought me. I was in Toro Rosso one and a half seasons until Williams bought me. Now I am a championship fighter

If I remember correctly the weather was much more realistic in the older games than it is now. Now it just sorta "forms". In Codemasters F1 2011 or 12, you could see the sky getting darker on the horizon as the weather moved in, and then it would only affect part of the track as it moved over.
Idea for 2017 game have the same cometators saying stuff during the race like the 2006 game aka this one

When I was a kid I loved this game, one of my favourite F1 games for sure. Also the achievement system to unlock trophys and cars was also really fun.

I honestly did this reverse grid thing a lot when i was younger, still love watching this game. Still hilarious that you've never have or had any clue with this game haha. Telling us you don't know if there's pit stops: 3 laps of fuel left, 1st of 6 laps....
Edit: But honestly don't mind which game you go through. F1 2012, an older game..

Never played this so can't comment on the handling, but I think it's probably the 'truest' looking F1 game ever, in terms of the graphics, the HUD, the FOM timing graphics, commentary etc.

You should do 2 seperate career modes where you alternate each one with each new career mode video, so F1 2006 then F1 2012 then back to F1 2006

I would like you to continue your career mode. I believe you got an offer to be a test driver for Ferrari and that's where you left it so you could focus on F1 2016
