Hello Enchanted ones! I hope you have all had a magical week and welcome back to a Halloween DIY video! I am in awe at my new tree and decorations and even though the tree took a long time to make it was so worth it and fun! I truly hope you enjoy, and see if you can spot a few new pieces in there too!! Im building up my repertoire for a new music video soon!

Yew trees represent life to me. I was diagnosed late stage with a rare, very aggressive form of cancer that had a 5 year survival rate of only 35%. I took part in clinical trials for a new chemotherapy drug that was derived from the yew tree. That was 21 years ago & I am very alive & well. That drug is now regularly used to treat some types of cancer. I believe with all my heart that the yew tree played a huge part in my survival. So yew trees represent LIFE in my realm & definitely have my respect. I LOVE your creation you made that was inspired by this enchanted tree & the other trees in your forest.

Trees have always represented safety to me. Mostly oak trees, as they were the ones I encountered most as a child. I loved climbing the trees, it was my happy place. They’ve even often appeared in my dreams, and they were always there for me to climb away from a threat
When I collect acorns, I hollow them out, let them dry and then use them as little spell "jars" and/or charms. You can put small things inside them then hang as decoration or bury them, sometimes leave them as an offering 💚🤎

I've been in a funk lately and your last video inspired me to get off my butt and decorate for Halloween. Now your creativity level is expert and mine is basic (ie. more craft store pillows and less acorn bats) but it did shake the blues off a little. Thanks for sharing all your creativity with us!

Your tree story reminds me of the Faraway tree 🌳 a story my Nan used to read me when I was a little girl. It tells the story of a magic tree in the forest where the magic folk live, there is a different world at the top each day. 😊

Hello Alwyn. Your videos have inspired me to make autumn wreaths for myself, and my friends. Thanks to your videos, I foraged for items in making my wreaths, which I really enjoyed. I used various herbs in my garden for hidden witchy protection, Lavender, Rosemary and Sage and Laurel. I am delighted with my end results. Look forward to furthering inspirational videos.

When using acorns- you might want to bake them first. Some of them might be infected with worms, and once you bring them home, to warmth, they start to crawl out. I know, I ended up with a bag full of them.
Just put them in the owen for like 150°C or so for some time, it will kill all the possible worms inside. Wish I knew it sooner, it was not fun having them all over.
There's no need to kill anything at all! It just takes a little time in the sun, just put them somewhere on a window or in the garden and worms go away on their own, same happens with mushrooms for example...
@@astrea9279I guess that could work too. In my case they just ate the acorns through, acorns looked like cheese with holes :(

This is so lovely, and it's special to me in a strange way, because I have been writing about a universe of my invention for many years that have tree portals at their center, as well as, in that universe, the structure of the universe itself is essentially a tree. Today I feasted on autumn fruit, with oolong milk tea, whilst patchworking a pocket together out of a cleverly printed anatomical heart fabric scraps

This was such a beautiful story. I love your Yew tree. I have found conkers before and did not know what they were. I would not know where to find such trees where I live. I am sure they are here. First, I need to familiarize myself with the tree. I was studying for an Urban Horticultural certificate and tree identification was where I stopped. The number of trees I had to identify was daunting. I was encountering many life changes and the stress was overwhelming. Between daunting and overwhelming, I found enough excuses to put it off. I still think about going back to complete the course. How wonderful, that you have such an enchanting place to find inspiration and the unconditional support of Mother Nature.
