    Awesome book that gives you step-by-step photos th-cam.com/users/postUgkxTNB_zFBSnTo_O1PqfVUwgi7ityw0JlKt and directions to make every day project. I can see myself making a few of these projects and giving them as housewarming and holiday gifts!

    This is some real hack woodworking. First of all you never use drywall screws. Secondly, you use pocket screw jigs like Kreg or biscuits or Festool dominoes for joinery. This is some very third world woodworking.

      I can certainly partly agree with you. Drywall screws are a real weakness; try to never use them for woodworking. As for pocket screws or dominos - they may well be the preserve of the better-off woodworker. I’m sure that there are many who can’t afford them but love woodworking. I remember well a cabinet maker making his own pockets for screws in pretty much the same way as shown - that was 40 years ago.
      If you are going to patch a piece of wood, it is good practice to use a patch with the wood grain of the patch in the same orientation as the main piece.

    He can't even put a screw in without stripping the head and the bit at 0:23
    This makes the rest of the video not worth to watch TBH

      it doesn't have to work
      It just has to generate views.
      Notice how he never show more than one joint.
      I find it weird that someone who supposedly can do Japanese joinery, also can't use a cordless driver correctly; basically he can't put a screw in without fucking the screw head, the bit and the wood... It's an interesting mix of skills....

      @@xl000 My comment is more for those who come to this channel and think they are learning something good.
      However I do agree with you about being clickbait and such.

      @xl000 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Funknwanker there are no people who are going to watch any of this and actually use it. People who actually do woodworking know better; the other ones don't even build things. It's just a finely tuned clickbait generating channel
