You guys really need to get together and do some videos. Love both Talon's channel and the Blade HQ channel, my go to channels for gear/knife reviews. Keep up the good work.
Finally a guy who doesn't use word fillers , talks well, and keeps it short and sweet! Never seen your videos...but I like the 5 minute format. Good job.
Yes I agree. People need short videos when they're comparing a million different knives. I dont got time to watch 10 to 15minute videos on each knife im interested in.
My EDC is a Spyderco Delica 4 and I like it very much. Talon, how about a five minute video on how you sharpen your Spyderco? Do you use the Spyderco sharpener, or a stone, or what?
lost my first para 3 at the beach a week ago bought it July of 2018. ended up buying a new on today. the new ones come with s45vn steel instead of the s30v. a perfect edc knife.
Call me weird, but I don't like a lanyard tube instead of an extra bolt assembly at the end of the handle. It was honestly one of the reasons I bought my Yojimbo2.
I'm super late to the game but I just bought my first Spyderco's. Para 3, Paramilitary 2, and YoJimbo. All black blades and G-10 handles. Couldn't choose, so I bought all three. LOL!
Had no clue what you reference to EDC meant...after that small hurdle I agree the 3 is good knife. I use mine for field dressing game I’ll have to try it on letters and boxes...
The Para 3 is also my favourite EDC! I have a blacked out s30v, rex-45 and a 52100 in the mail...it's a sickness. My one criticism is the pocket clip, it carries way too high. The Lynch clip or the MXG is a must purchase if you want to carry this knife daily.
The spyderco para 3 is also one of my favorite knives. I think I need a para 2 although I love it, it's a little small. Has always got the job done though. For smaller knives my favorite is the mini Adamas. Solid as a tank perfect blade centering and action. It could just be because It's my newest addition. I got say my para 3 lightweight with the spy27 blade is still one of my favorites. I went for the lightweight not because its light. Weight doesn't really bother me much, shit I carry my 275 auto Adamas quite a bit. What sold me on the para3 lightweight was the steel. I like to try new and innovative things. The spy 27 and the deep carry wire clip are awesome. The blue handles are pretty great as well. I have lots of knives and some I can part with. Not the para 3. I will never get rid of it and I plan on giving to my son for his first real knife. The spydy hole shape, and ergonomics are hard to beat, it becomes an extension to your hand. Para 3 for life!
Both are great knives. I carry the same PM 2, but I leave mine in the factory configuration, tip down, as I find it’ll carry a little deeper and it feels more ergonomic. It’s the only knife I carry that way.
I really like the para3, but the clip digs into my hand in an uncomfortable way when getting a good grip on the knife. Not sure if that is a design flaw, but it's my only drawback
Dude you're the 3rd person to mention that. I was worried about that too. I really like the size of the para3 but I think I'm going to go with the para2. It carries deeper and the clip seems to be in the right spot.
Great! Love it! Five min Friday, fantastic idea Talon. Also, I have always appreciated all the info you throw in all your products in all your vids! Thanks again!
I have just recently purchased a Para 3 and I like it a lot. But, my favorite knife of all time is the Delica 4 and for me, the FRN scale material feels better than the G10. I own two Delica 4 Spyderco's one of them is the ZDP-189. Do away with the music.
EDC a Para3 for going on 5 months now, in fact its in my pocket right now as I'm watching. I had to take it out to flick it a few times though while watching :) Upgraded from a Delica4 which I still carry sometimes as a backup or if I need an ultralight EDC option. Para3 is a definitely a tough EDC option for a wide range of tasks. Your black/black Para3 looks great - that color combo was my 1st choice but at the time I purchased mine the black/black Para3 was $25 more than I paid for my Digicam G10/black DLC blade Para3. I suggest a future "5 minute Friday" on the Paramilitary 2 or the Yojimbo2. Great video - short and to the point!
Yeah dude!! I got my pm3 in October added to my edc..totally hooked!! Diggin the new 5 min Friday format! Ps I added the fang from wise men company and the deep clip from Casey Lynch outta control!
still gave a thumbs up, but My edc is a CRKT, M-16 for size really. I have No problem with your choose of edc, and by the way...the strait edge is a MUST with me also!
Hello mate, great vid, can I just how you get the blade so loose you can flick it out? I’ve tried 3in1/WD/veg oil even loosening the pivot screw but nothing works, it’s still stiff, I will add that it’s a new knife. Cheers for any tips.
I have a sneaky suspicion this idea came from Peter Mckinon “two minute Tuesday”. Either way i dig the shorter review video - i share you feelings exactly when doing my own research!
Nice, I have also been a big fan of Spyderco for many years. They make awesome knifes. The 5 minute videos are a cool idea, however I’ll watch longer Video’s as well.
I have both a PM2 and a Tenacious with the combo edge in all black. Tenacious is a cheap knife but works well and versatile with the two edges. I carry that mostly because of the all black finish. I will have to check out the PM3. Thanks for the vid!
I definitely dig the five minute Friday idea. Short, sweet, to the point and an awesome way to get more content out for all us "thirsty thots". Awesome as always sir.
Very good review! Subscribed today and bought the knife! I want to ask how come your blade able to swipe in and out so smooth? Mine is so tight! Is it because is new?
How would this knife/handle work with XL/XXL hands? Currently carrying a Kershaw Link and that handle works for me, just wanting to get a nicer knife. Thanks
Digging that Spydie Flick! We are going to have to incorporate the new leaf cut test in some future videos :).
😂😂 improvising at its finest 👍🏻
Don’t forget to shave stick down some also.
You guys really need to get together and do some videos. Love both Talon's channel and the Blade HQ channel, my go to channels for gear/knife reviews. Keep up the good work.
Lets not forget Blade HQ had a hell of a deal on the PM 3 and Delica last week! I purchased.
@@kdhershb how much was it?
Almost 4 yrs later and the Para 3 is still my fav EDC. The thing is pretty much perfect after a clip upgrade imo.
Finally a guy who doesn't use word fillers , talks well, and keeps it short and sweet! Never seen your videos...but I like the 5 minute format. Good job.
Welcome to the channel 👊🏻
Yes I agree. People need short videos when they're comparing a million different knives. I dont got time to watch 10 to 15minute videos on each knife im interested in.
Mmmmm, need an OD version to match my OD PM2...
We can be twins 👯♂️
This makes my inner TH-cam nerd very happy
I didn’t even know they made them in OD
10 years ago: “it even comes with an s30v blade!”
Now: “eh, it comes with an s30v blade, that’s alright I guess....”
My EDC is a Spyderco Delica 4 and I like it very much. Talon, how about a five minute video on how you sharpen your Spyderco? Do you use the Spyderco sharpener, or a stone, or what?

I really like this five minute Friday idea. Great job as always brotha
I like the 5 minute format. I agree that long videos aren’t always necessary for knives and lights.
Just left Cabela’s with a para 3. Once I get a deep carry clip it’ll be replacing my mini grip for edc
Really like the 5 minute Friday. Very informative without dragging on
I have the exact same PM3. I replaced the factory clip with a MXG clip. I carry it every damn day!
Call me weird, but I don't like a lanyard tube instead of an extra bolt assembly at the end of the handle. It was honestly one of the reasons I bought my Yojimbo2.
you need a Lynch Northwest Spyderco Para 3 Ti Pocket Clip . BladeHQ has them in now.
Digging the gold lettering on their blacked out models. Gives it a Smokey and the Bandit look!
Love the switch ups you do in your vids! Very user friendly. It opens up the spectrum for a broad audience
My question is, did you winterize your Endurfo yet lol its getting cold here in NY
Sunday Gunday - Check
Five Minute Fridays - Check
5 more topics to get you to daily vlog status lets gooo!
No no no 😂
What I like about your video is the tone, it's warm, easy on the eyes
I love my Delica 4. Cheaper knife but still a good blade. Would definitely like to have this one though.
Great value for an American made Spyderco, compression lock as well
my two all time favorite knives
@6:06 when you are talking about a "beater" knife. Spyderco Tenacious. Can't beat it for the money.
Byrd Raven 2... cough cough
Spyderco Cat is an excellent option too! American BD1 steel, actual deep carry pocket clip, G10 grips with finger choil, $55.
@@jtoth1995 The Cat is actually what I carry to work due to blade length restrictions. Great knife.
Great idea. So many times I look things up and would enjoy just a short quick video.
Bonus points for wearing an Aussie shirt ❤️
I've been carrying a blacked out PM2 for two years, loved it so much.
I'm super late to the game but I just bought my first Spyderco's. Para 3, Paramilitary 2, and YoJimbo. All black blades and G-10 handles. Couldn't choose, so I bought all three. LOL!

Good day folks TGIF! Have a great day & weekend
Thanks, you as well!
Just received this exact knife today! And it’s a great EDC the action is a little stiff out of the box but it is breaking in quickly .
Five min Friday=Fire 🤙
Like the NEW 5 minute Friday's video idea! What a great knife to do your first one with.......SPYDERCO!
I like the video and shorter time. Usually watch on my phone but put the video up on my HD tv and was such a good picture. Love the autumn background!
I like the 5-minute Fridays
I just bought the para 2 on bladehq. After some time and after i get the money, i have one other knife to buy then the para 3. Super excited.

It actually comes right hand tip up from the factory
My PM2 absolutely came tip down from factory.
Ahh thought you were speaking about the 3
I really like the para3, but the clip digs into my hand in an uncomfortable way when getting a good grip on the knife. Not sure if that is a design flaw, but it's my only drawback
Dude you're the 3rd person to mention that. I was worried about that too. I really like the size of the para3 but I think I'm going to go with the para2. It carries deeper and the clip seems to be in the right spot.
I just bought a bench made mini griptilian and I’m thinking about buying the para 3. Thanks for the video 👍.
Great new format and I’ve been curious about the Para 3. Keep it up man!
Spyderco rocks! I have the Manix 2 Lightweight and it is my favorite knife.
OMG it's like if Peter McKinnon went tactical 😂 love it😂😂 and love the style
Great! Love it! Five min Friday, fantastic idea Talon. Also, I have always appreciated all the info you throw in all your products in all your vids! Thanks again!
Thanks for watching Marcus 👊🏻
I started stropping my knives between actual sharpening. Doing this makes the edge last a long time (for me anyways).
got me a Spyderco Police ....and like it a lot....the para 3 ....is perfect for smaller and thiner....
Great content your the reason why I went out and bought a spyderco knife
I have just recently purchased a Para 3 and I like it a lot. But, my favorite knife of all time is the Delica 4 and for me, the FRN scale material feels better than the G10. I own two Delica 4 Spyderco's one of them is the ZDP-189. Do away with the music.
that's a quality spydie flick
This knife is the first pick! It will work harder than you do.
I love spyderco knives but I have yet to find one that doesn't block half my pocket making it hard for me to get my hand in and grab other things....
In the UK it’s only legal under 3 inches but the blade isn’t allowed to lock
Check out the kizer mini sheepdog knife, pretty cool mini cleaver blade at a cheaper price of only $69 at blade hq
Great video thanks. Love the five minute Fridays idea.
Really like the concept for 5 min Friday!
I love the knife reviews
Love my para 3 s45vn and para 3 s110v blue g10 and my para 3 all black lightweight but now I'm stuck on the cf elite mini bugout all black lol
You should get the Valerian steel version.
Smoothest knives ever (pm2/3). Great steel. To thin of a blade for my comfort.
Needs a deep carry pocket clip low profile lanyard hole then ,it would be perfect
I have the Para 2 and always wondered if I should get a Para 3.
simple & nice presentation..I chose pm3
Bcoz of you i start loving spyderco.. lol now im carrying para 2 or 3 and have some delica 4 etc etc.. thanks for the reviews bro!
Great video! Still cannot get rid of my benchmade stryker II for my edc
EDC a Para3 for going on 5 months now, in fact its in my pocket right now as I'm watching. Yeah dude!! I got my pm3 in October added to my edc..totally hooked!! Diggin the new 5 min Friday format! Ps I added the fang from wise men company and the deep clip from Casey Lynch outta control!
Just got mine today! Love it such a good looking knife!! And home made here in my beautiful colorado!!
Sorry, cut off. What's your hit on the Sage 5 light weight, camparing it to youy new favorite? Thanks.
Damn you Sei, I now need to buy one.
DRC Why does everything Talon review make me want one? If it wasn’t for my wife I’d be broke😂
still gave a thumbs up, but My edc is a CRKT, M-16 for size really. I have No problem with your choose of edc, and by the way...the strait edge is a MUST with me also!
Best knife ever ever

When the actual video starts about the para 3 it’s exactly 5 minutes long
I have a sneaky suspicion this idea came from Peter Mckinon “two minute Tuesday”. Either way i dig the shorter review video - i share you feelings exactly when doing my own research!
Absolutely! But my style of the idea came when I saw 15-20 minute reviews like I said haha
Nice vid, being left handed I love my pm2 LH and hopefully they will make a left hand version of the para 3. Thanks for sharing 🐱
Wish they would make para 3 tanto
Good idea! You should make a separate intro for the specific 5 min Friday vids. They aren't really stuff and things are they?
Stuff and things is the whole series, spin offs like SDGD and not FMF are just segments for more specific content
Nice, I have also been a big fan of Spyderco for many years. They make awesome knifes. The 5 minute videos are a cool idea, however I’ll watch longer Video’s as well.
Great video. I like the five minute deal. Straight to the point.
Same here Talon, like both Spyderco Paramilitary 2/3 and 5 minute Friday’s. Bet it’s nice to be back home!
I have both a PM2 and a Tenacious with the combo edge in all black. Tenacious is a cheap knife but works well and versatile with the two edges. I carry that mostly because of the all black finish. I will have to check out the PM3. Thanks for the vid!
I have the Para 3 LW and it is a great knife.
The style of this video is quite nice 🧐
Love your new series Sei! Thanks
I definitely dig the five minute Friday idea. Short, sweet, to the point and an awesome way to get more content out for all us "thirsty thots". Awesome as always sir.
Thirsty thots 😂😂😂
Awesome, keep doing this 5 minutes videos!!!
A Blade sharpening video would be of interest.
Very good review! Subscribed today and bought the knife! I want to ask how come your blade able to swipe in and out so smooth? Mine is so tight! Is it because is new?
Under 5 mins, good call great content! Thanks Talon.👍🏽
Love my PM3
I have one myself. Great knife 👍🏽
Well spoken and down to earth, what made you decide on the DLC?
Have you seen the wisemen copmany Fang and Signet ring for the para 2 and 3
Yup, I have them just not installed.
I have one for my delica. It rocks.
Love this knife. Got it after PM2, Delica damascus, Dragonfly 2 and Para 3 clearly wins it for me cus of size and "sexiness"
Great idea!! Well executed!! Keep them coming!!
How would this knife/handle work with XL/XXL hands? Currently carrying a Kershaw Link and that handle works for me, just wanting to get a nicer knife. Thanks
5 years late but i just ordered mine on amazon
Do you know what size tool I need to change the pocket clip?
Compare to Sage1 or Sage5.. talk a little more about other variants of para3 with different steels...
Either than that, good job ...
I got 3 PM2s (people gifting the same thing) but im getting my para3 today
Keep this up. Great to see quick reviews.
