@HollcanaFarm oh okay. Farmer around here wrap baleage single and dry hay multiple. Just cause to keep the air out the rest of the row. After you break the seal.
We have the shell up and the electrician did enough that the excavation and floor people can come back. We are waiting on them. I did a video about the electrician that shows where we are at with the barn. Thanks for asking! 😊
looks like a beautiful day for wrapping. so nice to see a blue sky in canada!
Yes, it was! We were pushing ourselves. It felt like we were putting 3 days into one. Rain was coming. So thankful to get so much done!
Nice job! 👍
Thank you very much!😊
looks like some good hay
It should be. I guess we will find out when it gets tested. Looks like we are good for quantity this year anyway😊
Wrapped bails are way more fun than a trampoline. I remember playing tag on them. 3 in a row works best!!
Yes, even my dog still enjoys running on the bales.
The rapper works neat never saw one work before
Thank you! That makes it more fun for me to make the video!
Curios to know what the %drymatter is and what are you guys aming for, thanks and greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
We think our hay is around 50% dry matter, some less some more but we aim for 40%. Thanks for your questions and comments!
Another great video. This was baleage? Your dry hay wrapping?
Yes, this is balage. If we wrap dry hay we don't seal the ends and only put 2-3 wraps on. Thank you! 😊
