This issue is more on geopolitics around import and export , lot of the issues is motivated by state and non-state actors acting against indian interests. Quality should be improved by everyone .. not just india. Many companies export lower quality products to india to make them cheaper and beat local competitors. India have right to ban them or fine them whichever is suitable

@NehaSinghRoyal u will be surprised to know that in a country like ours, farming organically is much cheaper than using chemicals for pesticides as well as fertilizer.. so no the farmers don't need help fm govt, the farmers need to help themselves. I have worked on Ethylene oxide strilizers. ETO is used to sterilize products in the hospitals. ETO is utilized in the food industry primarily for its ability to sterilize and control microbial growth on spices, herbs, and certain dry foods. This process helps in extending the shelf life of these products and reducing the risk of contamination by harmful bacteria, molds, and other pathogens.

Matlab Total Indian food commodities ka 20% food mein limit see jyada contamination hai. Na ki "international limit" see 20% jada contamination hai.

All food products the world over whether India, US, EU , UK are heavily pesticised or artificially treated . The actual issue here is not food from any particualr countries .. but the fact that the level of pesticides approved for usage varies from country to country and therefore while one country might export the food processed under its own legal guidelines these may not adhere to the guidelines of the importing country. The solution to this is for food and drug agencies across the world to unanimously agree and follow uniform standard guidelines and limits and the FDA's of all individual countries to ensure that the manufacturerrs and exporters strictly adhere to these guidelines.

Tit for Tat should not be a solution, instead food should be banned on safety level irrespective of country whether its patanjali ,haldiram, mdh or foregin brand. common person health is more important than politics.
