If this were a real court the defence would object so many times. Obviously we all know what really happened and that Nathan is a monster, but the defence barrister would object so often as she isn’t answering the questions directly and she’s adding new, emotional and non objective information in each answer, which isn’t allowed. You mostly have to say yes or no, or explain precisely what said or done. You can’t say what you thought or felt.
