I’ve used my atomizer much more often since watching your demos, Roger. It really does make it easier to blend acrylics. Thanks for the many tips you’ve provided.
This was such a joy to watch! Your elation, Roger, upon viewing the beauty before you was palpable. I felt as if I too was immersed in the natural splendour of the glorious scene you painted. As well, your short and sweet tour of the old-fashioned store made my heart sing! My family is Canadian, but my husband and I and our children lived in Pennsylvania, when my hubby was doing a residency at a hospital 37 years ago! We used to walk to a very charming village called Narberth, near Philly, where there was a General Store named "Mapes" In this country store we felt as if we were transported back in time to simpler days. They too sold just about anything we needed in a pinch. Too, as a longtime visual artist who characteristically creates large, abstract acrylics, I am tickled to be learning so much about landscape painting from your videos. When I was a teen, landscape art was one of my first loves! May I add that I am also a poet and I am moved to write a poem today, due to the happiness my heart has reaped by virtue of watching your video. Ahhhh....Simple pleasures, gentle ways continue to call out to me. Thank-you Roger and Sarah for much needed respite from the woes of the world. Onward may we and all creators go with passion and purpose. The world needs us to keep hope and beauty front and center.
I always learn so much. I really like the way you choose the simple composition and paint things in your paint that I would not think of. I have seen this in several of your paints(your lighthouses, old shed). I think I have trouble simplifying my composition. Thanks Jack

Excellent!
Many thanks!
The birds are stealing the show 😄
Love your paintings but it would be easier for you if you paint the sky first 🤔
I find it easyer to paint the sky first
