the combat packs are only free in the season they were released in. they are now 2400 and you cannot trick the game into getting them for free by booting up MW2.

It isn’t out yet. It was supposed to be an unlockable reward during the 141 vs shadow company event in season 5 MW2. But the winning team ended up being shadow and the devs decided to just scrap the whole skin. There was actually an animated camo that went along with it that nobody got. So it kinda sucks. But hopefully they come back
