I think there's a reason why YG entertainment who's a Rap based agency choosed Jennie as a MAIN RAPPER. It's just sad that she raps rarely just cuz her vocal is good. Their song DDU-Du-DDU-Du made the biggest impact in Kpop and it's also thanks to Jennie's rap cuz she shocked everyone after a while. What they are doing is very fair actually extremely fair Verse 1 in typical songs goes to Jennie and she's singing, Pre-Chorus Rosé and Jisoo, Chorus all (sometimes excluding Jisoo and Lisa), Verse 2 Lisa and she are rapping, Pre-Chorus stays the same but Jennie is added, Chorus all, Bridge (usually) Rosie, Dance Break All. Their layout is fair and suitable for their style. The only way for Jennie to get a rap is for her and Lisa to share a verse and she literally gets the second verse to herself as in D4, yes this isn't a wrong way to lay it out but it would just get boring over time and would you really want to listen to the same layout of a song each time? Especially since now, music has changed and older songs closer to their debut will be outdated and not the ideal 7-year k pop group song.

What they are doing is very fair actually extremely fair Verse 1 in typical songs goes to Jennie and she's singing, Pre-Chorus Rosé and Jisoo, Chorus all (sometimes excluding Jisoo and Lisa), Verse 2 Lisa and she are rapping, Pre-Chorus stays the same but Jennie is added, Chorus all, Bridge (usually) Rosie, Dance Break All. Their layout is fair and suitable for their style. The only way for Jennie to get a rap is for her and Lisa to share a verse and she literally gets the second verse to herself as in D4, yes this isn't a wrong way to lay it out but it would just get boring over time and would you really want to listen to the same layout of a song each time? Especially since now, music has changed and older songs closer to their debut will be outdated and not the ideal 7-year k pop group song.

In my previous comment, I gave you the list of specialties that YG announced in 2016. YG has never said anything else on the subject and has never assigned official "main" or "lead" rankings and certainly has never ranked Lisa below Jennie as a rapper.
Most of the things you are saying are somewhat true, but you're actually just cherry picking anecdotes. There is no official "main visual" position. (Even Melon does not refer to any "main visual" position.) You are correct that Jisoo always gets praised by the girls about her visuals. But that applies to the other members too. They are constantly praising each other about each other's visuals. And everyone has a unique face. This is not proof that there is any official "main" and "lead" rankings of the members' visuals. It's ridiculous to claim that one member is automatically prettier than the others and deserves a "main visual" ranking. Some people think that Jisoo is the prettiest. Some think the same about Rosie and so on for the other members.
I would tend to agree that Rose is probably the most versatile singer in the group. But that doesn't mean that she has an official ranking above the others. In some songs, Jisoo's vocals tend to shine the most and in other songs Jennie's vocals shine the most and in some songs Lisa gets a lot of positive attention for her singing, even though she doesn't do singing parts often. People can have their preferences. There is no need to permanently and officially rank them according to "main", "lead" and "sub" rankings...and YG never has done that.
I'm sure that G Dragon did praise Jennie about her rap. But many rappers have praised Lisa too. Again, that just means that they're both good rappers. There is no need to label one as being officially better than the other. And YG has never done that. And did you know that Jennie's first appearance on national TV, in a collaboration with G Dragon, was her doing a SINGING part? And when did Jennie name herself as "the Main Rapper". I know that YG has never done that. But if you can tell me when and where Jennie did that, I would be interested in knowing. I've heard her call herself and Lisa the "rappers". But I've never heard her call herself "the Main Rapper".
Bottom line: I know that many fans are obsessed with the "main" and "lead" labels and Kpop media talks about those labels because fans talk about them all the time. But if the company and the group have never confirmed those labels, they are not official. Especially for the rap line in Blackpink the real evidence indicates that Jennie and Lisa have always had equal standing as "the rappers" of the group, without any "main" or "lead" ranking between them.
In YG's list, Jennie's specialties are "vocals / rap" in that order. Lisa's specialties are "rap / dance" in that order. That means that from the very beginning in 2016, Lisa was always expected to mostly be rapping in songs and Jennie was always expected to be doing a mix of singing and rapping. Lisa's "dance" role was mostly behind the scenes helping the group learn and polish choreography. In order to more fully express her dance talent, she had to make her own channel and make her own dance performance videos.

Everyone as a type of face which is unique in their own way but as i say, the bp members did say that jisoo as a unique face and she is currently the most praised not only by fans but by the girls and experts for her beauty.
Imagine if Rosé didn't had a vocal position, almost everyone would be confused for the fact that she is THE voice, There might be times where Jisoo's and Jennie's vocals will shine and get praised but when it comes to Rosé, no matter what song but everyone will speak about her vocal and praise it because it shined, even in covers such as 'Livin' La vida Loca' or even predebut songs such as 'Too late' sound good in rosé's voice.
Usually a Main Dancer would upload dance videos of them and examples of it are Momo of Twice, Yeji and Chaeryeong of Itzy... not because its cool and fun but because of their roles, they somehow have to showcase their dance skill and that is a way of.
K, sure, Yg maybe didn't said about a Main or Lead or Sub but them girls show enough proof of their roles as also interviewers and show mcs tell themselves their positions and updates about them.
They know their roles and take me for serious in this, they read comments every day and find ourself saying Main or Lead positions to them but they catch up cause they know abt it.
