- How To Clean A Suzuki Access Carburetor.

here is our carburetor so first you will have to remove these two bolts, then these two screws and then one more screw here which is there for the ring.
so first i will remove these two bolts which are connected to the engine.
then i will loosen the screw which is holding the ring.
after that you will have to push the rubber connection a little bit and pull out the carburetor, just keep this gasket in a safe place as you need it while putting everything back, here comes the carburetor out, you still have to leave three more connections, one is accelerator cable, then choke cable and petrol line.remove the petrol line and keep it on one side, now here i am removing the accelerator cable, by removing these two screws the accelerator cable will come out. now here comes out your accelerator cable just keep it on one side.
now you will have to remove the choke cable, and here comes out the choke cable.
so here is our carburetor which is completely separated from the bike so i will start to clean it now.
just take out some petrol from the motorcycle and take a paint brush and bush it outside first with petrol so that the dirt from out side will not go inside. clean the outside part of the carburetor really well and then we will open the carburetor after cleaning it with petrol just wipe it dry.
now here i am done cleaning the outside part of the carburetor, so you will have to take out these 4 screws which are holding the carburetor together.
you will have to put a clean paper and clean the carburetor on the paper so that the dirt from the floor will not go inside of the carburetor.
here i will start to remove all the four screws.
so here my carburetor is open now, all the parts which are taken out from the carburetor you will have to keep them in a safe place. just put petrol in a bowl and place all the dismantled parts in that bowl.
here you can see that how much dirt is accumulated over here inside of the carburetor like a layer, here i have taken out a pin from the carburetor, as i go on removing parts from the carburetor i will keep them on one side, here comes out the pipe and now i will remove the tuning screw.
like this one by one go on removing all the attachments and keep on one side safely, see that you don't loose any of the parts.
now here this part which is fallen out i will show you later from where it came out from, underneath of this part there should be a spring.
now we will remove this float by just pushing this small pin out and the float will come out easily.
here i am removing the choke assembly, just make it loose with a spanner,and here comes out my choke assembly.
as you can see here that i am taken out all of the parts from the carburetor and now i will start to clean them with petrol, all the parts which you have taken out from the carburetor you can now put in this bowl of petrol for soaking so that the dirt inside of the parts will become loose and will come out easily, here i am using a paint brush and cleaning all the parts, just clean all the parts nicely and see that there is no dirt left behind, you have opened it so much then clean it properly.
like this just put a few amount of petrol inside of this pipe so that all the dirt inside will come out, all the dirt inside will come out like this.
now all the small items which are there you will have to brush them one by one properly, there are small holes for these pins, you can just blow air inside of them and clear them, if you have a compressor then you can use that to blow air or you can blow air from your mouth.
now here i am done with cleaning everything and now i will replace my gloves and will start to assemble everything, i had told you that i would tell you later from where that part came from so here is where that part came from and underneath this part there is a spring, and then on top of that you will have to put this screw. now as and how you have removed all the part you will have to start to put them back. just put this pipe back and our carburetor fitting is done and we will now put it back on the bike, here i am attaching the choke cable, attach the choke cable first.
put that gasket back and slide the carburetor back in position, connect the float pipe, put screw for the ring and make it tight,
now put back the two bolts of the engine connection pipe,
connect the accelerator cable, and lastly you will have to connect the petrol tank pipe connection.

For further neatness in work I would advise u to plz use a plastic tray to put in all dirty parts and another tray for cleaned parts. Its also good to change all hardened pipes attached to the carb to reduce breakdown.

Carbureator के ऊपर जो accelator cable का Part hota hai...
Vo dono wires TPS sensor ke hai, TPS matlab "Throttle Response Sensor" wo nahi bi lagaye to bike chalegi, lakin apke pickup todha kam leghi bike, bohut hi chota difference hai, jab ap throttle kichte ho to vo apke carburetor se signal bejta hai.

apne head light ka glass check karo, zada se zada ye glass fade hoke light tik se bahar nahee kikalti, apka bulb be nikalke dusre koi bike pe dal ke dekh lo agar tik se zal raha hai ya nahee, nahee to bulb replace kar do.

Hi Ryson, I have a problem with my access 125 carburetor version same as yours.
4 weeks ago I dismantled carb and cleaned it as instructed in the video. After installation the vehicle was normal until 3 weeks. Last week, I stopped to fuel and later while riding there was sudden power loss and the scooter came to a rolling stop. The engine needed to be fully accelerated to keep it running. If I let go, it would stall. Also the RPM was not increasing even after applying choke. I thought the belt might have snapped and pushed the vehicle to nearby mechanic. He looked at the issue and told me it was not the belt and opened the seat to check inside. He opened the airbox cover and suddenly the bike behaves normally. He put the cover back on and the same power loss. He removed air filter and just placed the plastic cover and that's how I made back home. The thing is my air filter is new. It is white and from "Suzuki original parts: which I replaced when I cleaned the carb 4 weeks ago. Now my bike refuses to start with air filter on. It only works without it. And also it doesn't idle. If I let go of throttle it stalls the next second. The choke is also non responsive (acceleration doesn't increase or decrease). I inspected accelerator cable, choke cable and throttle spring; all of them are in good condition. I can't find the issue. Even fuel diaphragm is new so no issue with fuel as well. The problem is somewhere between carb and air box. The bike cannot accelerate with new filter. Could you help me out with this issue?
Was it raining when you faced this problem? Or was there water on the road?
@@rysonsgarage No, it was a dry day and I didn't ride in puddle as well. I earlier has the issue with water entering air box and my jugaad was sticking duct tape around airbox seam. so last year I never had problem with water entering after sticking the tape. This time, the power loss was sudden with no apparent reason. The air filter is new and worked well for last 3 weeks but now the bike doesn't like it. It wants to intake air without a filter.
Did you check if all the vacuum pipes are connected properly? Sometimes the pipe connected to the engine head comes out, giving this type of issues, check all pipes.
@@rysonsgarage Yes, vacuum pipes, fuel pipes, air pipes are all visually intact. Second checks performed by removing and reconnecting once again. Still the outcome is same (runs without air filter)
I must also add this. while the bike is running without air filter, the exhaust gases have petrol smell and has a slight black smoke

Air fuel mixture screw how many turns has to be opened
take half to 1 turn max, check for smoothness after adjusting, if not smooth then open a little bit more, but start with half turn.

dost, tuning karne ke liya apko gadi chalu rake karna padega, bike ka ek round lelo 5 minute ka taki apka engine garam ho jaye,bad me apko tuning screw ko tight karna padega, ise apka tuning high hoga, phir aista apko tuning screw loose karte jana hai tab tak jab tak apki bike kam se kam rpm per chalu rehegi,zada loose kiya to apki bike band ho jayegi, or zada tight kiya to gadi zada race karegi,apko tuning screw bich me rakna hai.

But when I kept the spring in that it is not setting properly.half of the spring looks out side.and also difficult to tighten the screw on that spring.but in the video you are fitting very easily.
put the spring on to the fuel mixing screw and then put the screw inside, the fuel mixing screw is the one which is next to the tuning screw, outside of the carburetor. there are two main springs, one for tuning screw and one for fuel mixer screw. on the video I failed to show that. join my facebook, group link will be in the description and send me the photo of the spring after which I will be able to direct you better.

Tell me how to make tuning setting
you will have to keep your bike started and do the tuning, before you do the tuning take a round of 5 minutes so that the engine warms up, never do tuning on a cold engine, then you will have to tighten your tuning screw to the fullest this will make the tuning high, after that slowly you will have to loosen the tuning screw till your bike idles at the lowest RPM, if you loosen it too much then your bike will shut off, and if you tighten it too much your bike will race too much, so you will have to find the sweet spot for you.

I have not tried that bro, but I feel that you should put the same type of carburetor because that carburetor is designed for that engine. If you are not getting the part then it is a different case.

bohut reason hai oil kam honeka, ek to apke engine oil drain honeka bolt loose honeke karan leak ho sakta hai, dusra apke head gasket me leakage hai to oil kam ho sakta hai, silencer me se kaisa dua nikalta hai vo dehko,agar dark blue dua nikal raha hai to apka engine wear ho gaya hai.agar thoda oil kam hua hai to vo normal hai,lekin zaida oil kam hua to apki gadi kaisa dua chod rahi hai vo dekho.

How often need to clean carburator
Not so often, only if you feel that it is a carburetor problem you will have to clean it, your bike will lose power when you accelerate and will tend to turn off, that is the time you know your carburetor needs to be cleaned.
