Wow! I recently found you on MuseScore and your compositions are really good! Diamond storm is my favorite so far - it’s the one I found you with! I’m also attempting to compose stuff - do you have any tips? Your music is beautiful! Thanks for the listen! Keep up the good work :D
Thank you so much!! :D As for composing - take a break if you're absolutely stuck (don't force ideas), and don't be afraid to experiment! It's important to establish a natural "flow" of ideas rather than trying to "math out" what comes next in a piece. And if you don't already have a background in music theory, I'd suggest you learn some. But other than that there's not much else lol. I'm def not as "professional" as a lot of others on musescore so what I tell you about composing might be a bit different from what others might say, but learning to compose through experimentation the way I did has worked pretty well for me imo :P
@@RebeccaYangComposer thanks for the tip! Yeah music theory is definitely something I’ve never done and I can tell it limits me a lot - I have ideas but I can never get them together because I’m not sure of the correct chords to get along with it 😂 Once again - keep up the great work, I really love your music! You really do sound like a professional!
god your pieces give me so much nostalgia :')

@@jimtim5419 Thanks so much!!
Yeah basic music theory really helps - just knowing the chords of a typical major/minor scale can do wonders :P
