I never thought I’d find a channel full of Suns fans. Been a Suns fan for over 5+ years. I’ve subscribed and will be watching your vids.
I am honored man! Thank you for watching my content! 🙏
I cannot tell you how much I have appreciate this video!! I saw him playing in my town in Sicily in the mid ‘80s with a selection of American players who were probably looking for a team in Europe. I fell in love with his game, his energy and his style! You could tell straight away as he entered the court how he brought a different energy to the game. He was amazing!!!
Thank you! 🙏 I made this video during the NBA's shutdown and i was proud of it.
My high school team played against ron’s team. They beat us in the state final played in the old Boston Garden in 1971. The following year, I got to play against him briefly in a regular season game. He was always everywhere on the court. An awesome athlete and a nice guy, too.
He went to my old HS but 40 years before me and people in my town were still talking about him. And how athletic he was he has the javelin throw record at my school and also had offers for pro soccer . What an athlete!
Just started watching pro ball back then and l thought he was crazy.
I played against Ron lee in Stockholm sweden basketball tournament in 1993,we lost but I'll never forget meeting him.
Thanks for the comment! That is awesome!!!
I get to see Mr. Lee every other day shoot he gave me a signed old school basketball card of his he’s such a cool guy to talk with.
I NEED those shorts hes wearing in the dunk contest 😬😬😬
That archive footage is awesome!!! 🎥
It really is! Thanks man!
Ron on defense was very aggressive, he would be all over his man, he defended like that everytime I seen him play
He is the best stealer of all time. Almost 2 steals per game in just 21 minutes playing time. Better record from Stockton Pippen, Jordan, Alvin Robertson, Ray Richardson
🙏
My heart sank when the Suns traded Ronnie Lee and I have always thought they would have won the 79 NBA championship if they had kept him...With Davis, Westphal and the rest they could really score points, also with Lee's energy the Suns were so motivated and hungry to win it all...bad, bad trade and unfortunately the franchise has never won the title while lesser teams have.....
The 3 hardest playing players I've ever seen: Dennis Rodman, Russell Westbrook and Ron Lee.You have 3 guys like this on your team....youre gonna win SOMETHING.Ron Lee and Mike Newlin led the league in floorburns. They left alotta skin on the floor.
Suns Geek approves this comment 💪
bro im literly in his class right now he is a teacher i swear im looking at him right now
@@allisonlucero8105 He's teaching? That's great!! Always gave 100% on the court.
@@missayawk yeah he is my middle school teacher he teaches social studies
I'll back you up on that. We had him in Detroit and he was an insane hustle player. The Pistons had another guy like that before him in John Mengelt. We loved them both.
Hey it cam my channel got terminated
why did the suns trade him
I mean we did get a good player back in the trade, but no clue why they traded a rising star. He could have been one of the all time great Phoenix Suns
@@SunsGeek Truck Robinson was a better player.
Its because he under estimated some one shorter then him so he got beat he was very close he told uss he works for a school now and he is my teacher
