    I’d love to see a tutorial on automating this thing it has a lot of potential! Great video thanks for taking the time

      With automation it deffinately gets really wild. I may just do that in the future. Cheers

      @@Mickey.Nox. I bought it a couple months back but have had a difficult time incorporating it into tracks because it’s so dominant. The sounds are really cool so I need to figure it out. I make more liquid dnb tho

    Bought this a few weeks ago and its been pretty nuts ! If youre looking for some similarish modular'esque + textury sounds you should have a look at the glitchmachines polygon 2 vst as well. Can spend hours on it just messing around! 😅

      Nice mate.
      I’ve heard about the Polygon from GM. Deff need to check it out at some stage. Thanks for recommending:-)

    Hey man a new subscriber, do you plan on doing a kick from scratch tutorial or how you are about making one?

      Cheers mate. I will cover some more kick stuff for sure. Though i am planning a kick drum masterclass which will be 3 parts :D

    Hi Mickey. So do you recommend it for a hardtechno producer? My doubt is that the sounds seems very how I can say "plastic and artificial with no a great presence, maybe is cause the distortion of the pedal, I don't know."

    • @Mickey.Nox.
      @Mickey.Nox.  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      It’s hard to specifically recommend it as it’s very subjective. I have been using it in my productions already. To me, it sounds similar to what I would try to get out of my modular. And I didn’t go to deep in it either. Start with a free trial, see if you like it. :-)

    do you know if you can send a track in RANDOM to use it as an effect?

    • @Mickey.Nox.
      @Mickey.Nox.  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I've only used it stand alone on it's own midi channel. If it doesn't work i'd group it into a group I wanted to hear it and bring it up like a paralell :D

      Can you explain what you mean by this please man?

  • @boimesa8190

    Is this monophonic or can it also be poly?

    • @Mickey.Nox.
      @Mickey.Nox.  หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is a monophonic random generator that produces one note at a time. While it can generate notes at random, it does not support playing multiple notes simultaneously, which is a key feature of polyphonic instruments or plugins. If you require polyphonic capabilities.

    I think it's fun but not very useful. I find wavetable synths like Phaseplant more useful.

      @Mickey.Nox.  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Sure mate. Useful is subjective to each producer. I love wavetables to

      Fair enough mate. What did you already have or what were you using to get simialr sounds to random?

    • @basshell666
      @basshell666 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      depends on the setup but its all about signal chaining …in ableton id probably start with a feedback matrix ..create a few return tracks containing choruses, flangers and other classic modulation effects hi / low pas filters and some distortion and or saturation resonators grain delay .. small delay times for that Karplus-Strong sound…
      doom compreser and a few limiters ..
      id feed the matrix with an fm synth and a couple of samplers maybe a noise generator too ..
      a few macros to control the high level basics ..sample adsr , the amount of distortion , reverb amount etc ..
      for the randomisation side id probably insert a few modulation sources most likely the stock expression control set to random and mapped to some choice parameters with a macro to control the amount of randomisation ..
      an lfo set to random to add some variation ..the amount of variation (unpredictability) could be controlled by the lfo depth ..
      i might even use some sort of snapshot morpher to mix between the parameter settings ..
      just an idea ..
      There are countless ways to get similar ( better) sounds ..
      its a nice interface but i think its mostly marketing hype .
      ferrofluids react to music , carefully crafted sonic matter , attraction and repulsion of Ferrofluid dynamics to respond to your touch bla bla bla ..
      Hypnotic graphics and a crafty copywriter :)..
