Hi, Thank you for your turorial on the butterfly. So beautiful. Your teaching skills are amazing as well. I'm dyslexic and I've managed to make the left side. I only struggled on the last circle on the bottom of the wing. You are so talented.

LOVE butterflies, as they have a special meaning to me. When my mom passed in 2007, while they were closing her grave( don't mean to be morbid) two butterflies, a yellow one and a monarch flew around above her grave, and ever since I seem to attract them. If my two youngest grandsons ( one was 4 months when she passed and the other wasn't even though of yet lol he just turned 5) hang out with me in the back yard in the summer, a butterfly will always land on the blanket we are sitting on, or fly around us. If I go to the butterfly house at our local zoo, they land on me, not on anyone else, but me and the volunteer said to me, someone is with you. I do believe butterflies are one of my totems. Mom never mentioned having a fondness of them, her thing was angels. I am a paranormal investigator and "very gifted" so I do take it as a sign that mom is watching over her grandchildren. Thank you so much for this pattern/tutorial. I am putting down my current porkect to make one for each grandchild, hopefully they will will turn out as nice as yours, I want to frame them and give them as a gift from their great grandma. I don't think you are being morbid at all. In fact, I think your experience with the butterflies, then and now, is just what you say...confirmation and a continual reminder that spirits you have a special connection with are making their presence known to you. Some people have dimes drop from nowhere, others hear a particular song just at the right moment, you get butterflies. how wonderful!

@@weavingwyrdstudio Neither my hubby or I keep change on on us, and it's funny you mention dimes, ever since my FIL passed we find dimes inside the washing machine or on the floor near it.. I love your crochet butterflies and I love that you explain your pattern but I wish you could add to your video on the left corner and bring your camera closer because the yarn is so thin it would help. But no matter what I'm subscribing because I saw some of your previous posts I want to view. Also is there any way you can make a video to give an idea on some of the videos, like this one or the Dragonflies, can't wait to watch that one.
Thank you for your kind comments. To be fair, this video is one of my earlier videos. I think you will find improvements have been made with my newer tutorials and so I hope you have a chance to view those.
1:04:28 I did give up, some of the difficult parts were out of the picture. Is it possible that you can make another video of the butterfly? Stoppning after each segment and show the progress.
I am sorry to hear this. It's a complicated piece. In a few months, when things slow down for me, I can take another look at this video and see if there are ways I can simplify this pattern for you, and anyone else, having troubles.
