    Great info! Implies that we should prioritize using our Hunter inscriptions on marches that already have the highest skill damage bonuses, rather than marches with lower skill damage that we wished hit harder.
    Like if you used a hunter inscription (+15% boost) on a march with +0% bonus skill damage, it would increase the damage by 15%. But if you used a Hunter inscription on a march that has +100% skill damage, it would increase the damage by 30%.
    (damage factor) * (skill bonus) * (skill boost)
    (damage factor) * (1.00 + 0.00) * (1.00 + 0.15) = (damage factor) * 1.15
    (damage factor) * (1.00 + 1.00) * (1.00 + 0.15) = (damage factor) * 2.3

      Yup! The higher the skill damage increase already, the bigger the effect of the boost

      That works so great on my huo Nevsky march 😊😊Nevsky is loaded with skill damage

      I think combo with Nevsky Joan is actually really good too because of Joan double skill and probability of hitting multiple targets. If you got a double inscription with hunter/combo that would be absolutely broken!

    Hey man, love your videos. Could you make a video on how bastions work and the math behind them/the most efficient use of them? I heard the quests arent random and you have a high chance of getting a good quest like a training one after you to a donate material one. Could you explain how this works?

    • @Busdriver3092
      @Busdriver3092  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So I don’t actually spend too much time streamlining that. In general the troop training gives the best value so you should probably prioritize that earlier on. But honestly most of the time I just do the resource donation ones cause I’m lazy and it’s easy.

    It is not that simple. The more damage buff you already the more diminishing returns other buffs have. On the other side the more damage reduction you have the more impact new reduction buffs have.
    Dont forget you have 40% damage boost as a buff in kvk.
    8:12 resistance applies to all types of damage not just skill.

      That's what I was thinking also.

    • @Busdriver3092
      @Busdriver3092  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There’s no diminishing returns with damage man. There is for attack, defense and health.
      I know the damage resistance I presented was for all types. I said I couldn’t find one for skill damage resistance only so I used the all damage one from hollow square.

      @@miseq4342 I don’t follow. Being additive doesn’t make it diminishing returns. DR means each additional point gives you less. With additive, every point gives you the same increase

      @@Busdriver3092 lets say you add 50% damage. Now you deal 150% of the base damage which is 33,3% damage increase. If you add another 50% now you deal 200% of the base damage but the increase is just 25%. BUT for damage reduction if you for example reduce damage by 25% you get 75% damage taken. But if you add another 25% reduction of top of it, instead of having 25% reduction now it reduces by 33,3% because its the 25% out of 75.

    pretty sure all damage is additive with skill damage, not multiplicative.
    Got it from this guy. th-cam.com/video/jLDkTXGWDWI/w-d-xo.html
    However he is proving it with eulji mundeok and his 4th skill, witch in wording in the battle log is (increased All Damage), but is described as a damage dealt increase in the skill description aka the same as all dmg but it might be different idk.
    Anyway since I saw Cwill I thought it was damage(before reduction)=DFx(SkillDmg+AllDmg)xSkillBoostxTroop advantage/disadvantage but have not done any testing, but with all damage in armarments it should be easier than ever.

    • @Busdriver3092
      @Busdriver3092  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      All damage would be easy to prove and test. Again Cwill presented all damage that way without showing the testing so I dont have a strong opinion about it right now. I’ll check out the video you linked though thanks.

    • @Busdriver3092
      @Busdriver3092  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So I just watched the video.....a couple of thoughts.
      1. The video was confusing to me. I'm not sure it proved that all damage was additive. Also, using Euji's 4th skill is a very tough way to prove this. First, the wording is a little weird where it might not even be all damage that it is boosting. Also, it's triggering off of taking a basic attack. You literally have to have the active skill fire off while you get the damage boost to even be able to gather the data to use it....which is low probability and inconsistent.
      2. I'm almost tempted to set up my own testing to see how this works now. Off the top of my head I think the easiest way is to test it when you get debuffed by Alex's expertise and when you don't. Just those two numbers will give us a clear idea of whether all damage is additive or multiplicative.

    • @thyphoon2345
      @thyphoon2345 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Busdriver3092 it can be difficult to say if its additive or multiplicative since you also need to land on the base or near the base of what ever you are testing

    • @Busdriver3092
      @Busdriver3092  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@thyphoon2345 I think it’ll actually be fairly easy because you can easily calculate all the additive Buffs you get from the tree and individual talents. So when you compare what the damage debuff does you can determine whether it’s additive or multiplicative

      @@Busdriver3092 i think all are multiplicative tho john wick video where he talks about the additive vs multiplicative he got the base attack wrong and thought it gave an increment of 2.5 percent when it actually gives the 5 percent bonus when you multiply from the correct base
