Resellers set prices but if consumers refused to pay the mark-up resellers would be forced to drop price or be stuck with product and you can't be a profitable reseller if you buy and not sell

solestreet has a point. Not for resell was suppose to be meant to be general, but it was released in such a limited way that it contradicted the meaning of the shoe. Which is, it is suppose to be not for resell, yet the only way to get them is through resell.
I understand that part, but did you not see the internet roasting the shoes (I'm sure some people liked the design, but a majority of people hated) before they released. And when they found out it was limited, now everyone wants it? You get me?
Tony Mui I absolutely get you. However, Nike made the show to look like it was a general release. The meaning behind the shoe. It literally said, “not for resell.” When Nike does a limited shoe the design even reflects it. New tech, material, co-brand. The public knows it’s limited and the execution is limited. But when these were debuted it looked like Nike was going to mass produce them. Then they slapped up with a backhand and made very few and executed like a limited. It messes up the meaning of the shoe.

You know damn well, if the resell price wasn't over 1K no one would say a word, hell they might still be sitting in stores. People were FLAMING the shoes! You can't have it both ways. Roast a shoe, and then when you find out the resell price is crazy high, complain how you couldn't get a pair when you didn't like it in the first place. (I'm not saying you didn't like the shoe design, i'm saying this applies to the folks complaining about not being able to get a pair, knowing damn well they weren't going to wear it!)
