Literally, her job is to constantly fill up the gaps, but this was filled with awkward and unnecessary gaps, dream literally had to ask the mod for the next question, 5:13... bruh, this was hard to watch

Lol, the awkwardness is insane, the mod just left them in silences and awkwardness, 7:03 for example, oof... The questions were bad too, like they're so close ended and cringe, like "What obstacles have you faced when building your community", like what did you expect them to say? bruh
the host did a terrible job to be honest. there were no adlibs, she was just "okay. next question" and im watching here, screaming "girl hype them up! keep the energy high bruh!" kudos to karl for making the audience cheer for them. next time, they should just get jack manifold or someone who is more energetic that her. 😐

I absolutely love that to quakity, it's not just "oh yeah I'm Hispanic whatever." I love that he goes out of his way to make content for his Hispanic viewers too and he recognizes that. People really underestimate how great and how sweet these people are
I don't watch any of the guys anymore, but I remember I had woken up to a odd and strange nightmare. I wasn't running from anyone. It was just weird. Like I was deep underground, in a room with dirt on all sides. It was dark, but imagine the room was lit by 1 Redstone torch (that was the amount of light). Btw it wasn't an MC dream, it felt like real life. Anyway, while in this dark dirt room, I was tied in a chair in front of a curtain. I could just feel the terror. It then opened, with this massive image of a "spider molt," look it up if you're unfamiliar. And as soon as it was revealed to me I all I could hear was this loud screaming as if it was a pterodactyl , or something, (i can't explain it well). As soon as I heard that I woke up, and was a little nervous, and felt a little uneasy. So I opened Twitch, and was Quakity streaming, and even though he was streaming a Spanish stream at 3:30 in the morning, I still watched. Eventually I fell back to sleep and the rest is history.
What I'm trying to say is, in a way, Quakity was available when I need something to calm down to. : )

A lot of mistakes were made by the organising team, but our guys did a very good job answering as well as they could. What started out as a panel full of awkward silences turned out to be a quite fun and wholesome experience. Ps. Well done to Dream for doing such a wonderful job considering he isn't used to being on camera.

the host is so clearly unprepared omg thats the most awkward part of the whole panel. how is she gonna start out with “how did you get started” ???????? this is an established smp, has been for years, most of these creators have been in this space for YEARS, you cant just be a host of a panel and be like “welp you guys take it from here!” its a job that comes with responsibilities and duties and i think she very obviously contributed to the extreme awkwardness of the whole panel. idk the circumstances behind choosing her as a host, but this could have been a much more engaging and thoughtful panel had she facilitated a little more familiarity and comfortability for the panelists
I don't think this is her fault, twitch definetly could've prepared her better for this (it's not like she already knows everything about the smp, I'm pretty sure they follow a script) and since twitch is ass at this, they planned the panel so badly, so in my opinion I wouldn't blame the host
@@kateb7751 again, i dont know how they chose the host of this panel and it really doesnt matter. its a hosts job to fill the empty spaces, make everyone feel comfortable enough to speak whether it be an audience member asking a question of the panelists themselves answering or speaking. her job was to make them feel comfortable and at ease. there are obviously bigger issues at play, i know twitch did a real shoddy job at putting together this con, but she was still there to do a job that wasnt executed. not everything is her fault absolutely not, but she could have taken a look at the general responsibilities of a panel host and tried to implement them.

@@memealistic6017 I don't know if it's a matter of looks honestly, but you might be right, it's a shame because most of us are here for their content and fun and laugh but the people at the panel were literally missing all of the jokes and not asking good questions, what a shame.
Plus, Dream is literally good looking and honestly considering this was his first-ever panel AND Irl "meetup", he is pretty charismatic and handled it well, if the host had helped a little bit, it would have been better in that regard.
Also, the fact he was off the table and not even with the dream team bruh...

i couldn't stop smiling throughout this video, i love them all so much and even though I'm not like all caught up with lore and watching every single streamer in the dsmp i still love them lots, my first year getting into all of them really helped me with my mental health and i know that there will always be streamers and a community i can rely on when things are tough, hope that one day i'll be able to see and meet them irl some day.

I love how dream is taking a big step show his face even though the criticizing he's on at twitch con with lots of people. I can tell its fun to humiliate people who are nervous but I feel as though most people will act the same way in a situation such as dream unless your used to be on a stage with millions.
