Just passing info here. I like the info from you awesome work. I do want to say I learned this recently and it has sound meaning behind it. My First Aid teacher said don't us blood clot powder. The Hospital/Doctor has to cut it out of the wound to properly fix you up. Sponge or gauze type blood clot is easier to clean off. Last thing you want is more digging into a gaping wound scraping out all the clogging material. I'm just passing the info, use what ever people like to use.
Just a heads up while you are technically correct, it isn't that big of a deal. Any wound where you would need to use that stuff would have to be surgically debrided anyway. As with most life saving measures, they almost all have downsides that's best not to worry too much until later. The impregnated gauze is better though as it is easier to use and allows a person to get pressure on a wound Moore quickly. Source: my wife is an ER physician who has to deal with these sounds when you get to the hospital and has done time overseas as a military doctor treating combat casualties. Long story short, don't be afraid to use what you have if you need it.

Ditch the RATs and get a CAT
Don’t use a rats tourniquet. Also, don’t use those shears. Buy aftermarket ones. And ones that are at least over 15 bucks. Anything below that will get really dull after only the first cut
It appears to be the same design (but a bit wider) as the North American Rescue Eagle IFAK pouch I have.

Just learned of an Ankle IFAK made by Rescue Essentials (and i am sure, others) that I am researching and really leaning towards....like my weapon, don't wanna be caught without one.

Just as food for thought, i do not see very many You Tubers including Super Glue in their IFAK, which seems a little strange to me because it was originally developed for the Medical Industry as a very effective liquid bandage, which is why it sticks to skin so well.

I think Condor Rip-Away Med Pouch is better
Thank you for your contribution. The "rip-away" capability requires hook-and-loop on the surface where the bag will be attached. The bag that I use doesn't have that, but does have molle. It is also attached internally because of its covert mission. I would prefer a "rip-away" capability.

What did it cost to add those items to your pouch? I always wonder if it is cheaper to buy pre made kits, or build custom.
Good question! I don't really know because I buy the pieces based on my training and assessment. That way the contents are customized to my requirements. I get to decide, not some company wanting to sell a bunch of stuff. My sense is that doing it that way is less expensive in the long run because you're not buy things that you don't need, or too much quantity.
Great point! Are most of the contents items ordered online or are they found at places of business in your community? Perhaps I should look for an EMT supply house of some sort in my area. Thanks for the feedback, this is an an area of preps that I am way behind the curve on!
+Black Riflemen's Organization (The B.R.O.) best option is to find an EMT supply house. They can also give good advice on what to have. they are less expensive than REI or supporting goods stores.
Pre made kits ive been looking at are all cheap pouches with cheap supplys and knock offs. And they include too much of one thing and little/none of what you need. Better build your own and save money by adding stuff you already have.
Absolute terrible zip design. My first aid kit is constantly on show as the zipper rides down!
