Golden Tricorn works differently on Prismatic. It only requires you to match your Super to that Element of the weapon. Then, any Ability of any Element will proc GT x2. It is arguably better.
been using this combo w/ storm nades since these class items got released, idk if i missed it in the video but the jolt from your storm nade also seems to give energy back even after your grenade has disspeared, also instead of hellion ive swapped to the threadling after class ability aspect because of the fragment that gives grenade energy when you get a kill with darkness abilities/weapons. it genuinely gives you almost 90% uptime on your storm grenade.
@@andrew1250 it doubles up on the energy returned from being strand and from devour, you can totally just use helion as its neutral game is probably better but its nice to get random bursts of grenade energy back since the threadlings will find mobs on their own.
I was looking through arc primaries with demo. The best one I found with a good damage perk that isnt the short 4.5 second adrenaline junkie if non enhanced was golden tricorn (still bugged) on the Out of Bounds smg. Demo with golden tricorn with storm nades could be insane. Also looked through stasis and found the Unending Tempest can get demo + frenzy and a few other perks (I'm not a fan of precision frame smg in pve tbh) and the Something New from Solstice this year can get demo + frenzy or maybe you could build into headstone for giga explosions. Strand you have the obvious choice of The Call but I also found the raid smg to be insane. Breachlight, Rufus's Fury, maybe even the Guiding Sight. Even Better Devils has a combo or 2. Honestly Strand weapons are just stacked for demo options. Void has 3 options I liked with 2 being quite similar. Optative and Word of Crota can both get their own unique perk combos of your choosing and the 3rd is the Unforgiven SMG. (I LOVE THIS GUN. Too bad I hate the encounter you have to farm for it.)
I got a osmio and syntho one. I run lightning surge with devour. It's a lot of fun in lower level content. Grenades for days and doing a Shoryuken 3 times in a row never gets old
Managed to get verity/fotracer on Hunter and with gun powder gamble honestly god damn. 130,000 with a bundle of grenades which then gives 4x weapon damage with matching subclass and the strand melee is honestly absurd
I got a Heart of Inmost and Verity's bond been swapping between Threadling grenade and a Breachlight with Demo/Desperate Measures or Storm grenade with a crafted Insidious Demo/One for All and both hit really hard. The combination of Facet of Courage with Heart is awesome I just Phoenix dive for the HP/Hellion, throw out my stasis melee, and then storm grenade. Also noticed that Heart of Inmost works with Song of Flame so you just get even faster and stronger grenades and melee while in super its been the most fun I've had playing Warlock since Starfire was broken
Ive had this roll for a while. I use it with vortex grenade and the heal weaken and volatile aspects. I love it but osmiomancy / swarmers is better cause every threadling is treated as a grenade. Throw on threadling nade / the strand aspect and combine it with pheonix dive and its threadling insanity.
Does osmiomancy perk work with the prismatic grenade? Does verity perk work with the prismatic grenade? What element does it check for death throes? Void? Stasis? Both? Edit/update: it does not affect the damage of the prismatic grenade.
I’ve also been curious about this- I’ve noticed that I’ve earned stacks of Death Throes before using a void weapon while Prismatic, but I am unsure if it was actually increasing the damage of the grenade I was throwing. Haven’t done accurate testing on it
What I find with verity and osmiomancy is the fact that - I stack up kills for the grenade damage charge with verity and my weapon matching the element of my grenade. I throw my grenade, in my case I wanted to use arc but seeming as I see this issue I might have to switch, the moment it makes contacts and damages the enemies - It instantly kills the group of ads due to the amount of death throes I've been stacking. Then I get minimal grenade energy through osmiomancy and have to gain it back with devour. It doesn't really seem as efficient as it should be?
Don't sleep on season artifact void damage does increase damage to weekend enemy's throw that void it gets double damage buffs from vertys and artifact plus u get back almost instantly.
What are your thoughts on running the Dawn fragment (radiant on melee) when the artifact this season gives u radiant just for orb pickups? It feels kinda wasted imo
Because helion charges light energy and threadlike grenade charges dark energy so its more synergistic with prismatic. Only situation you would want to run threadling grenade and weavers all together would be if you were running swarmers with prismatic
how does veritys work with ascending and using your song of flame? do you need to use a void weapon to charge up prismatic nades or a solar weapon for song of flame?
If your rubbing vortex nade, since it clears adds faster aka is too strong for lower tier content, take out vertiys for synthos and put on lightning surge. Grenade Comes back super quick. Melee hits like a truck and a half... Boom.
One combo not here is Gunpower Gamble. Yes it works, yes its stupid. Its a great pairing with something like Grapple or Duskfield, since the damage on those isnt necessarily the most important thing, but Gunpower has way more up time, and you can take a Solar weapon
It's not cope, but keep in mind you already have devour to cover you with grenades which is the main thing for warlock. Is still good if you look to get every ability, like melees and helion aswell.
I prefer it vs osmio+verity cause there is no dependency of getting X amount of hits or missing your grenade. Plus you can spam more class ability and melee.
I tried regular verity brow with a demo weapon and was getting my arc grenade back in 2 or 3 kills yesterday. Not sure If it got a buff but I was chucking ×5 nades every 5 seconds.
Why use with coldsnap with this particular combo? Does the shatter damage scale with the verity buff? Because if not I would stick with just the osmio gloves for the extra grenade charge rather than a nonexistent benefit to the grenade itself because coldsnaps don’t deal very much direct damage

No its not all abilities. Its very weird, it only gives regen to arc abilities on prismatic. To get the most of it, you would have to run all Arc abilties.
It's part of the perk. The exotic class items mix and match various pre-existing exotics and make them more general purpose, but with the tradeoff of being slightly watered down from the original.

there really isnt a better combo for it though. you get more grenade energy back regardless, you proc devour most likely, and then on heavier/boss targets you'll be more likely to throw a couple of grenades. theres an undeniable synergy between something that refunds grenade energy and something that buffs grenade damage
@@RojoDawg31 then great, you have good across the board neutral game, but you arent speccing into the effect of verity in its maximum potency. you'll still get much higher grenade returns across the board with osmiomancy, even if you one shot most things, devour can cover the bit that is missed, and, once again, where verity is mainly going to get profit from, heavier enemies will still be more effective for grenade returns with osmiomancy.

@@thebhoy8561 i havent done damage testing so maybe. the trancendant grenade does seem to be its own thing so theres a good chance it doesnt. hat it does do for trancsendance is boost the grenade recharge by a lot so youre able to throw even more

The ppl saying it sucks dont have it cuz if they did theyd know that every threadling is treated as a grenade. Including the ones from euphony, the strand aspect combined w pheonix dive AND the tangles. You have threadling nade up every 2-3 seconds. Ppl who dont have the class item combos they talk about shouldnt talk about them.
Osmio star eater looks wild for raids. Osmio gives fantastic neutral and ses gives a huge boost to nova on top of courage and the weaken void boost with vortex/artifact.

I got this roll too , it's pretty decent.
For an arc pulse you can also use the crota pulse with voltshot demo
The problem with that is the jolt from voltshot doesn't count as a weapon kill, so you are losing consistency with death throes
It also has cursed thrall explosions, best pulse, I have it with keep away voltshot
Jolt won't count as a weapon kill though. My roll has demo sword logic. Not that great but sword logic is the only damage perk it gets.

If you decide on void grenade you can use buried bloodline for devour and use a different aspect

If you're using threadling grenade, why not switch out Hellion for Weaver's Call and have even more synergy?

Vortex is definitely the best offensive grenade with osmiomancy in Master + difficulty, but I agree that in "expert" max, it's kinda meh

Swarmers done make your threadings unravel on class item I would just use weavers call, devour and normal swarmers if you wanna play threadings
