After their debut in 2019, ARIAZ has been embroiled in controversy and has been mismanaged by their company. RISING STAR Entertainment announced that members Hyogyeong, Yunji and Yeori have decided to terminate their contract with Rising Star due to bad management.
Members Sihyeon, Dawon and Jueun have continued their contract with the company and plan to do activities such as music, acting and being influencers.
With no mention of future promotions as a group, ARIAZ presumably disbanded. #ThankYouARIAZ

Contrarily to RISING STAR's statement, member Jueun also shared on her Instagram that she's leaving ARIAZ. With her gone, 4 out of the 6 members have left the group.

Oh man, that’s so disappointing. I’ve been following Ariaz for the past year or so after getting into Nine Muses, it’s tough to see them disband.
I had no idea about the fact that Jueun had already faced that backlash in their pre-debut era and I totally agree they should have known better than to try debuting her again. Nothing against her of course, just the reality of the situation.
It’s extremely ironic that knetz hate bullying but bully idols to the point of suicide.

i sadly have to agree with your comment about Jueun. The Korean public isn’t quick to forget so the company should have known, especially since they already saw it once pre debut. It’s very upsetting to see that such a great debut was overshadowed by malicious articles and comments and lies about her.
Their debut is absolutely amazing and I’m proud to sha I actually own their debut album. Their title track is absolutely amazing and I’m convinced if more people had known about them that this song would have been a huge hit with fans and curious peoplen

I'm so saddened by Ariaz's fate. Grand Opera is easily one of my favorite kpop mini albums, especially for a debut. I am honored to be one of the few that owns a physical copy of this album. I wish all of the girls a better future ahead💕

i loved ariaz’s debut album so much, it was definitely one of my overall favourite albums of 2019. its so disappointing that this happened to them :/

I agree with you. I feel bad for Jueun and I do hope she really learns by her past mistakes, but putting her in a groups is a reckless move. The company might think the public had forgiven her so they put her back in the lineup again. But the thing is, school violence is a serious matter in South Korea and anyone indicated to adopt an Iljin (school gangster girl) lifestyle is guaranteed to be frowned upon since Iljin students tend to be bullies as well. They should have let Jueun go forever so both the other girls and Jueun could keep on thriving on their own (with Jueun probably should search new activity to do under radar)

i’m so upset. moonlight ariaz was one of the best debuts that year. yunji and sihyeon had been in the spotlight since 2016. they all worked so hard and were so talented. i fucking hate star empire.
I think it's just funny everyone knows who was a school bully but nothing is done about them in the daily lives and tell other people to just "deal" with it. That's the funniest part about this whole thing. I find it even more disingenuous.
Star empire always dissapoint us again and again. They never change. Always have bops but the management ugh.
Can't believe Jueun was harassed for smoking & drinking underage and swearing... When she had become an adult. Can people move on? And who cares anyway, it's her life. Idols shouldn't be held to some higher standard like that

How long was this, 2016 since OMZM formed? Took SE until 2019 to debut them, no new songs since except remakes of Jewelry songs. SiHyeon even said "six years", Star Empire literally gave them 1 EP in a 6 year span. I hope they never debut another group, that is gross mismanagement. You could see sadness all over them during Hot & Cold promotions, what little there was.
I wish them the best, they deserve it and more.

Ironically, this video made me look into Ariaz and I actually bought the album from a retailer. I really love the creative direction of the album, it's a shame they disbanded like that

I am really curious about them and their song, but at the same time, I dont want to give even a slight attention to that company, since we all know how badly they treated their artists. So yeah, I am sorry, hopefully all of the members can find a new and better home for them, and hope they can shine much brighter and most importantly they can find their own happiness elsewhere.
Everything about Ariaz just hurts so much. They deserved so much more, what a shit company star empire is.

I just want to say every idol group success is beyond the company’s plan. It doesn’t matter small or big companies, they still can succeed if they have good plan & strategy for their beloved group. And the company should treat their trainees well and have good relationships, so that they can work together for success. I don’t know what star empire entertainment are thinking everytime they decide to debut a group. I’m clueless really. They want money and fame but do less or even nothing to promote their groups. At last, the group itself taking all the blame and failure. How shameless. My opinion is that…they either improve or shut down completely.

Koreans are the most cynical when it comes to other people's problems and boast about being moral, when they themselves have bad pasts and behaviors. Nobody is perfect and people can change, but they think they are perfect when in reality they are toxic and fake people. it's best to ignore them and move on, that kind of people is not worth it
