Arigato Gozai Masu Risa-chan! Frank would have been really impressed with your playing and as Frank used to say "you put the eyebrows" on the music. Meaning that you put emotion and humor into the music that needs to be there or it just isn't Zappa music which is the BEST!!! I've been a Zappa fan since I was about 11 years old and I'm 55 years old now. Not only did I get to see him in concert almost 30 times. I also got to go to his house three times and two of those times were for interviews. Frank was not only one of the greatest composers eve, he was also a genius in so many other ways. And the best thing about Frank was that he was a humble and gracious person and he was very generous to his fans. After we interviewed him for 4.5 hours, we said thanks to him for taking time out of his busy rock and roll/composer lifestyle to talk to us... but he said, "No it's me who has to thank you for being my fans. If I had only one fan I would owe it (the time/interview) to him." Thanks Risa and thanks FRANK!!! This is fantastic. The girl is a real musician and will ever be. I didn't know that there are so many musicians and orchestras which play Frank Zappa's music. He should be sitting on his cloud #9 and enjoying them all.

I know little of the complexities of such compositions, but I do know what moves me. I hope that future generations will see these as fine examples of 20th century music. Consider the compositions that never were as a result of his untimely passing.
Especially impressive that this entire medley was performed without the benefit of sheet music. Sofa No. 1 was an excellent choice as the finale. Very well done, indeed!

When I see and hear people play Zappa's music so well....I sometimes wish Frank was still around to see and listen too. That was fabulous!

Beautiful rendition, those are difficult pieces physically to attain. You get it. The modern day composer refuses to die.
