The only problem with the desert area is the game expects you to be leveled enough to beat a hoard of raiders that will not stop chasing you. They also expect you to parry a bunch of the raiders that do 20 damage and one m1 cycle can kill a new player
For anyone having a difficult time with the magma turtle.. it’s quite simple actually, stay back and keep dodging his attacks first, and once he starts slamming his head onto the ground, parry it and the boss will get stunned for a decent amount of seconds, and his tail would be vulnerable. Just keep repeating it until he dies, very low chance that you will miss it, since he slams his head thrice. *TLDR, stun the boss by parrying it’s headslam attack.*
Apparently Icicle Staff can bypass damage resistance to a degree, so it's good to get that weapon if you're going for a mage build and you're having trouble beating Magma Turtle
3:50 tip for the eyeballs, if you parry one of their shots, they get stunned and take a lot extra damage for a bit, dont get intimidated, they are quite weak if you know this trick due to their consistent fire rate
a tip for the eye spies (I'm pretty new) If you parry the projectiles, they get stunned and you can actually deal your full damage instead of dealing around 3% of what you actually deal. hope this helps for some newer people
i killed em by using chilling stone and hitting them with third m1 on fast weapon to inflict frostburn cuz it does full dmg but this is very helpful ty
This game is like Terraria + deepwoken The way to drop items from enemies, boss battle And the reform of the weapons gave me references to terraria. (If you don't know that game just google it) The graphics of the game also make me a reference to deepwoken. It looks like a good RPG to play after all. Thank you!

Keep in mind that, Executioner's Greatsword is a pretty good early to mid-game melee, despite it's awful attack speed, but it grants better damage below 50% health. So keep it and reforge to get atleast a legendary to negate the awful stats. And also practice using with it at somepoint as well.
When ur about lvl 17 just go to savannah and grind ants with an iron spear (longer range than swords to hit enemies without getting damaged) and u get a lot of exp

u can get up the mountain faster in spawn (go to the barricaded cave where the tutorial npc is and on the right of the opening u can climb the ledge and from there climb up)
I think I already know how to counter thief king. step 1: when the thief knig does 3 dashes, I'll use heavy attack with greatsword. step 2: I dash behind the rock, healing myself. step 3: *Parry block dodge.*
If you want more money as beginner you should kill those worms in the desert especially the giant kind of the worm the small one give (50) and the giant one is (200)
I have very bad internet, so if I parry an attack, it was purely because of luck. Also, sometimes when I am blocking the game doesn't recognize this and makes me take normal damage while I am slowed.

@@Sleepybear6032 Go straight up Granny's cavern, you should see a portal light. Bully the eyeballs in the Desert temple, and they will kill granny for you. (You get a vuvuzela) Anyways granny drops a huge hammer that does 44 damage and pretty good heavy attacks that can stack up to 100 damage.
Blocking reduces damage but can be block broken Parrying blocks all damage and cancels the attack unless its a heavy Dodging dodges You also get invincibility frames when dodging btw

The eyes just have tons of defense and parrying will stun and disable defense temporarily
when you're using guns there's that icon at the bottom to change the direction of the bullet. Always have that on Body not cursor
I prefer that on cursor cause if am up on high ground. I can actually shoot he enemies
