Most teens would just run away from their problems and stay negative, but Harry didn’t even have a choice because of the prophecy. He’s really strong, mentally and physically. That’s why he's my favourite character. After Luna.
And he was really smart and intelligent. Most people either didn't read the books, or they call him stupid because he was reckless. His recklessness made his decisions seem less smart, but dude, he got 7 OWLs with an O at DADA, E at Potions, Charms, Transmutation, Herbiology and Care of Magical Creatures. In 4th year, he solved the Golden Egg and Sphinx's riddles, in DH he recognizes that there is a Horcrux in Bellatrix's valut just by noticing that she was terriefied of the notion of the trio breaking into her valut, he comes up with the idea to free a Dragon and break out of Gringotts, he uses Voldemort's fear and arrogance against him by telling Voldemort about how he survived due to love, Dumbledore's plans and how he is the true master of the elder wand. By doing this, he also refutes Voldemort's verbal taunts, and causes him to become emotionally unbalanced. Harry, aslo became the youngest auror of all time, after the Second Wizarding War. Then, he soon enough becomes Head of the Auror Departemnt.
I love how you managed to convey what a wholesome, snarky badass Harry is. I will never understand people that don't like his character, especially in the books. He will forever be one of my favourites!

I have many favourite characters, including Harry, but my point was that he can't be overrated, because the series is literally called Harry Potter, he's the Chosen One, The Bi Who Lived. If someone is overrated, that person gets much more attention than they actually deserve. Harry saved the entire Wizarding World, he deserves all the attention. The thing that frustrates me is the fact that he's actually underrated. The fact that Draco gets so much attention is so sad, because he did absolutely nothing to deserve it.
