Hi, nice lure, but a question: What is the function of the alu-tape if it is totally coverd with paint and no reflecting effect of the alu?

The alu foil it's not all covered if you pay a bit attention. The blue paint looks fantastic over the foil,but maybe I didn't made the perfetct photos. Ma' bad! 😉

@@BejanHandmadeLures I was wondering how to get the scale look on the wood but i see how that works now with the foil. trying to put scales in the wood would be to hard. however foiling it first allows the "skin to be softer and form to what you are using to add scales. Awesome work.

May I ask what type of pen you use to sign your lures? And also, do you always paint with the needle nozzle off? Does it really make a difference,? Thanks

The pen is a Pigma Micron 04. I don't undersdand the second question.
Sometimes I paint with the crown off. There are moments when I have to make sure that the needele is clean.
Please try to be more specific with the second question and I might have an answer.

It's a varnish calllet Cab regular. 2 layers to cover the foil and I let ot dry around 2-3 h betweent the layers
