You can only do a floor plan design. If a nail salon has plumbing, electrical, mechanical involve, it has to have your state license architech and engineer to do the calculation.

When having employees do you supply them with monomer, powder, etc? I’ve always been curious how that works, it can be expensive when employees are negligent with expensive monomer liquid etc.
Do you advice getting a POS system for nail accesories supplies for starters or start off manually??

I ordered some things from Amazon but with products I went straight to the nail supply stores. You just have to compare which ones are better with pricing and deals 💗

Our salon has been operating successfully for years, but it has always been a problem to keep a nail worker. All our workers work on a percentage, whether it is facial treatments, massages, eyelashes ... But how to pay a nail worker and keep her in the salon when she can do the same job in her house?
It definitely is a challenge but maybe you could do a salary with a percentage of commission. After all you are providing them with a space with all the necessities and products. Clients do prefer to be in a more professional atmosphere. Do you do nails yourself? Do watch my video on how to play techs. It might answer some questions.

@@samanthar1837 I raised the percentage. The result was that the workers put in more effort, and those workers who weren’t that good became very, very good.
@@santino_moltisanti One thing that I hate in nails salon (in my city) is they use MMA monomer and they are not sanitary business, for me as a nail tech that is super important becase it is my reputation that is on risk. It has been very difficult for me to find a good salon to work with.
About how much did the ventilation cost you?
It was around $3000. If the place had a kitchen before, you might already have a commercial system up there and that cut cut cost too.

You mean how do the techs get paid or what system we use?
@@maryjkhan both. Sorry for not being specific.
Np at all🙂.....techs get paid commission and ofcourse tips unless one of your techs is managing the salon then pay them base too. As far as the program, we've been using Salon Iris. It's a whole system to manage salon and appointments.
What type of ventilation do you have?
I have ducts on the wall beside the desks that connect to one huge exhaust fan on the rooftop.
