How to use Wood Glue

Thank you. I was putting together a window frame at my neighbor’s wood shop. (He thinks he’s a master carpenter). He got very angry that I used so much glue…I used about the same amount you used here. He showed me his method which was about a tenth of what you used. I felt it was totally inadequate but he was nearly having a stroke over this issue. A side note is that many of his creations fall apart very quickly and now i know why! I’m glad to know that my method was the correct one.
