The really fun part of these Maglight guns, is that when you stand at the top of the stairs to shoot the intruder below, you are already lighting up your face from underneath like a spooky campfire story session!
He knows how its supposed to go, when you're a guest in some one else's channel you respect their customs and culture and try to adopt it, not many "guests" are this great and supportive. 🙂
IMHO as a big 2A guy, these things are a fucking nightmare for our rights. Guns need to look like guns, people don't need to be sneaking a flashlight gun or a phone gun into a venue.
@@legionof0ne441 Legally, something that doesn't look like a gun is restricted. It's an "Any Other Weapon" (AOW) in the NFA and requires a tax stamp to own. That said...gun rights are human rights. Do you object to ordinary concealed carry?
They've always been weird. This design is very much like the old Reliant tear gas pens. You could get them via mail order for about $3.50 when i was a kid (no permits or restrictions of any kind back then, would ship USPS). Rumor had it that those were originally designed for use by the CIA (a sterile version) but never found any confirmation on that. People back in the 50s would build homemade 'zip guns', single shot tubes that worked much the same way.
I really like the new trend with 'guntuber" collabs, it shows that there is some "unity" within the recreational firearms community which is a good thing in these troubled times.
I always giggle uncontrollably seeing the ballistics gel go into the chipper, it stall immediatly, followed by a techinical difficulty sign with skyler looking confused.
I like the fact you point it at yourself while using the flashlight, lose visibility when you aim ILLUMINATING YOURSELF, and pull back a smooth button on an unstoppable spring. Whoever made this belongs in the gulag.
This has to fit somewhere in a top 5 funniest KB episodes list! Cool defense weapons that would be awesome if they could make them safer to carry but just as easy to deploy. But Scott and Aaron channeling their inner goofballs is just priceless.
I drew up the mechanical drawings for a Maglight machine gun design 30 years ago and now I am seeing a shotgun design; bravo Scott. I never pursued my design because I always thought of Maglight firearms as a very limited niche market and they weren't legal in California where I live. California law looks at these in a similar light as pen guns.
I absolutely love seeing all the big gun channels collaborating together! A lot of love for each other! And I like that! You can see all the personality’s blend together! Love all the channels! Keep it up guys!
More of that and perhaps when applicable collaborations with different type of channels for topics that overlap. Having that I remember seing Todd's Workshop collaborating with a gun channel shooting on sandbags. Turns out, oddly enough, that arrows got better penetration through sandbags. ☠
Just found the channel last week with the Super Shotgun and I loved it!!! I'm not a gun person, but enjoy seeing people shoot targets and different guns with ammo types. You do that, plus the amount of energy and random craziness thrown in and I was hooked lol. Keep making the great videos dude and hope you're doing well!!!! 🤘🤘
Thank you Scott for the never-failing entertainment and surprises you always bring to your channel. With the all-out support, straight from your Philippine fans! We love yah!💪
I’m a third-hand source at best, but if I recall correctly, some gun-stat guys were all uppity with Scott about something regarding speed/energy regarding calibers. That eventually led to him setting up to use chronographs again… except that was not his real intention. Thus, the chrono destruction began.
As a guy that forgets stuff in my pockets these would be nightmare for me😅. Like even a derringer it looks like a gun so I know to check before entering security. Any "hidden gun" that would be BAD DAY
I''ve been to museums that have pocket checks at the entrance, always get a bit nervous considering a lot of my jackets and whatnot may have brass leftover from previous range trips lol Never caused any issues mind you.
I don't think they'd be too safe in the washer and dryer either or if you took your pants off and just threw them onto the floor and next thing you know a bullet is randomly shooting somewhere...
Great opening skit! Guns were much more destructive than I expected at the beginning. I think the accuracy issue has as much to do with a short barrel, as with just flinching when firing them. If they had some type of trigger (even a button), I think they would work much better. Either way, just a very cool gun. 👍
I think they are fun to mess around with, but I would never, ever, go around with one in my backpack or in my nightstand, they look like they have a very high chance of causing an accident that would make you "put a thumb in it"
these would be even cooler if there was some way to make the barrel be in the center of the light like a ring LED around the bore so you could actually see where you were shooting in the dark.
Since the flashlights are supposed to work as well, it would be bright... but about as bright as a 1980s/1990s MagLight can get. Definitely not gonna get any target illumination though.
My Mrs has a massive amount of hatred for furbies and wondered if you would see what happens when you shoot them with a selection of shotgun rounds. Especially dragons breath 😂😂

One slight improvement on this would be to have a led ring light with the barrel through the middle so you can fire it whilst having the torch still lighting the target rather than having to turn the torch around to fire
I think over the shoulder is a good idea ! No breech block and no buffer means if something breaks then the case and the broken bits will all go out the lens end of the light.
