IMO Veteran from Peggy is the best experimental rap album, Batshit crazy production, Relentless rapping, Def the most complete experimental rap album I can think of, There's even more experimental releases out there such as Injury Reserve's BTTIGTP that are very deep but tough listens but I don't think it hits on all cylinders the way Veteran does.
This album is more punk rock than anything released by anyone claiming to be punk in decades; shit is just so raw and uncompromising. With this album, JPEG is officially my pick for the GOAT when it comes to mind boggling production. Dude is a goddamn wizard of sound.
this is definitely in the mainstream / more rap world very punk but underground legends with stuff like lumpy and the dumpers collection LP is way more punk but I see where you're coming from.
