We used to have something like this for our first husky. As you know… escape artist!!! She wrapped the line around the post and backed out of her harness!! Sneaky girl! These are great, but best to only use when you are there with your pet.
Yeah, harnesses are always easy for them to get out of! You should never use a harness on a timeout. martingale collars are best for them. Sized so they cannot choke your dog, but also so they can't slide it over their head. And we AWAYS supervise our dogs.
Oh yes! We learned quickly. That was for our first husky- street rescue back in 2005. It took a lot of trial and error to figure out what worked best for her. I’ve thought about martingales for our newest huskies but they make me a little nervous…. Hopefully you’ll maybe get to do a review on one so we can see how to safely use them!
Please never leave Indy, alone. We had something similar for our Doberman and she got tangled up and passed away. But I’m sure you guys wouldn’t leave her alone. Sadly we had, we had gone out and left her outside
We don't leave our dogs alone outside, ever. We are always watching them. Just like kids ,there is WAY to many things that can happen in just a few seconds of time. Sending love.

Indy is just happy to be with everybody but I'm glad your parents have this.
