Chinese, Japanese, Russian and French are wildly different languages and each nation would probably have a language of its own based off the language of the country it was inspired by Initially I was quite puzzled by it, since in one of the Traveller’s conversations with Paimon (which u can hear in the Traveller’s voice lines in the Character menu) they talk abt how Paimon taught the Traveller “the language of Teyvat”, which they grasped pretty quickly I had also thought abt the possibility that, if there were a language barrier, not only would it be present between nations, but between mortals and deities (Liyue’s ppl and the Adepti, Mondt’s ppl and Dvalin, so on, so forth) as well. Languages undergo drastic changes in a matter of decades, let alone in millennia’s time. They would probably have a VERY hard time communicating, despite technically speaking the same language Then I realized- Save for Kaenrih’a- Kaehn- idk how to spell, y’all know what I mean- Save for them, most (if not all) nations in Teyvat were founded by the 7 Archons.
