Regardless of someones beliefs, she did the right thing...a brave woman, I applaud her actions, no one should abuse a position of trust, an then hide behind that position. Like a politician or law enforcement.
Heroic. The Light will dispel the darkness.

Please check out Bishop Trautman..,formerly from Buffalo..,,sent to Erie diocese, Erie County,Pa. called whistleblowers “ liars” “women trying to ruin the church”...never arrested...still living in the diocesan manse. Please help!
they did intend to ambush him --- and the bishop deserved to be treated like that because he continues to choose avoidance and denial with these issues...
I admire and completely support Ms.O' Connor for her steadfast view of justice/ injustice regarding this " obscene plague" of the Catholic Church,which has been in existence the beginning of its " being."

No,I was raised Roman Catholic and my grade/high school education by Notre Dame nuns.I have been cognizant of Churche's "double standards"for quite sometime.I agree,there are positive aspects to most"everything" however,the Church has had "more negative than positive"and has been in existence for over 2,000 years,I would think,more than enough time to "correct its skewed persprctives of life,and human beings "

I know that in the last 40-50yrs many modernist, liberal people have infiltrated into the church and all these diabolical perverts need to be removed, but the teachings and doctrine of the faith are 100% true. God Bless You Shiobhan. I am an abuse victim myself and I thank you for defending the victims, when the hiearchy hides in silence and secrecy. Pope Francis accuses us of being devils as being "the accuser", when in fact you are bringing to light for all the world to see, which is the work of the Holy Spirit. God does not hide the truth, He is Light. Only the devil wants to keep his evil hidden and secret, because it suits him.
