Great video to bad you missed the biggest hit at 17:12, disappointed in those track officials, they need to wave the red flags not just hold them up, that announcer was wasting his breath, just like Zach said they can’t hear anything in those situations. Thank you for filming these. @BillyThompson
Seems like we tend to have two main problems in derby: 1) Too many cars and not enough track, or 2)too much track and not enough cars. This is definitely case #2. Yes, they can build up some serious attack speed, but the target sees them coming from a mile away, and scuttles off to hide. Put four, five more good cars on that track and it'd be EPIC.
Stupid to break sticks if people don't instantly stop when a red flag goes up. Kinda hard to stop right away or notice a red flag with in 3 sec of it going up. Breaking sticks should only happen if they're warned once already for it or if they continue to make hits long after everyone else stopped.
I've been kicked out of races because of officials like this guy when your full throttle you can't hear and your focused on making a hit that was complete bullshit for him to be kicked out of the heat
I do find it interesting that given how anal they were with the red flags and no warnings before giving DQs that they didn't do the same with driver door hits. Like, it's a very similar amount of dangerous and the lack of consistency in what they'll allow makes me disappointed, since I thought this was a pretty good show to watch.
Love the Chrysler cordobas if they're set up right there one tough car to beat got to have a pointy bumper on the front

The track officials did not think about the logs rolling when hit? lol....
The A3 got completely destroyed in that first heat. Awesome.
Easy how you grab that axle you could burn your fingers
Hi all my Ownbilogical That is up there racing
Cordova's are pretty tough Car special in the front
Cordoba you mean . And yes they are tougher than a monte carlo or Buick Regal .
Great video! That announcer needs to be slapped . What he said over the radio to a couple of drivers and acting tough is b.s
I agree... that announcer was extremely annoying. Pretty sad when you can hear him over multiple open headers!
It's his show and he's going to let you know it is better known as obnoxious

Breaking sticks prematurely on red flags... I wouldn't even bother with this event.
