In this clip, Freeway Ricky reacted to Fetty Wap’s unfortunate downfall from certified hit maker to prison inmate after being sentenced for drug trafficking. Freeway Ricky explained how rappers have a difficult time tucking their money especially if they’re signed to a label. Naturally when they aren’t as hot the label won’t prioritize them or their music leaving the artist to figure it out on their own. In Fetty’s case, his alternative to getting money in music led to his eventual confinement.
What I noticed about almost loosing everything was how little I actually need. Food and shelter and something to do.

And I mean to a large extent in a community. We can say African Americans are oppressed by white people and it’s obvious to me this is furthest from the truth.
