the game isn't coded in flash the rendering engine is custom, and the rest is an engine called haxe with stuff to make it work using Adobe Air which is technically flash 2.0 so... flash 3? ig.
You want to know the trick to get the "to hell and back" achievement? Have 2 people pick Jiro, and spam sword n-sig right over the portals. That's it. You don't even need more than two players. I did this, and it worked great.

I can't express how much I want to thank you for making this!! I have a deep passion for obscure, removed, scrapped, and indev video game content, and Brawlhalla is one of my favorite games, yet there's surprisingly little that's easy to find on the depths of it.. at least, I wasn't able to find much, until I saw this video.
Good video overall man! Just one thing tho: as a user of Special K it doesn't really crash your game unless you have the wrong settings or a bad version. Also, it doesn't provide a competitive advantage at all; in fact, you really only feel a big difference if you have really bad internet (like I do) or a bad pc. It doesn't do anything but decrease input lag, and boost frames which is great for someone like me who has terrible internet, even with ethernet. Contrary to popular belief it doesn't lag the other person's game (as far as I know). Great video though! I can tell a lot of time, and effort was put into it!
@Rama Naw the reason BMG wasn't too big of a fan of it was because they say it's not fair to console players. Which is stupid reasoning, but for now it's banned.
Honestly this shouldn’t be as ridiculed because it honestly gives those who can’t pay for better equipment a chance at being their best. I’m a Mac user and I felt the difference between switching to special k on boot camp compared to Mac’s version. It’s not fundamentally different but it aids at lowering scuffed inputs (like a slight j dair)

There's Artemis who just opened a wormhole, then there's Hattori and Wu Shang who didn't really die but just entered spirit realms or something and Brynn is technically half human and she was born in Valhalla so she didn't die either
Yeah, but since you can only do it near the end of stages it’s not that useful. Other insta gps also aren’t really useful in most situations since they still get startup frames, unlike gs and blasters insta gp. You can always dash jump nair or gp though to get the same effect anywhere on stage.
I haven't played since Mako was released and this video is making me wanna go back into it, the only issue is that I stopped because all my friends got bored from it and only I was left. The OG event was my favorite, I used the colors all the way until I dropped

I got To hell and back with my brother and 3 friends, we all played Queen Nai and alternated katars N-sig with 2 ppl on each door. It was suprisingly a 20 minute breeze!
The to hell and back trophy tutorial. (how i and 3 randoms did it): Step 1, All of you pick queen nai Step 2, 2 nais go on each gate in the dead center. Step 3, alternate katar nsig between nais, 1 after the other so no demon even touches the gate. Do it until you get the trophy, its literally not even hard.

It’s possible to maybe not consider her human, because she was born as a response to Orion’s arrival in Valhalla, like a universal antibody? But I figured it was worth mentioning on the off chance it’s right
i know this is late but im pretty sure hattori is also alive, cos her lore says she was "wandering the twilight passages" but it never specifically stated that she died, so she probably just found the gates to valhalla and let herself in like bodvar

It's probably because of the "bonk" feels to it. The bonk always feel satisfying to us which is what the old cannon had, while the animations and effects of mild explosion feels unsatisfactory.

Personally, as someone who HAS gotten a skin form meeting a dev (Asuri) I find nothing wrong with giving everyone a metadev. If I have something rare, i feel bad for the people who will never be able to get it ever again. And besides, new people enter the game's fanbase, every day. THEY wont be able to get them again, so we still have those oh so coveted bragging rights, since there are more than just 100,000 people playing this game. Also, idk what else foda could have given for us who have gotten an original metadev. I feel like the title is enough personally.

you can actually do any "insta" attack just like you do with the inta gp, and i usually use it for gauntlets nair, ou scythe nair
