He was a born again Christian, so I know I'll see him again. My husband died 2 days after my son...deaths not connected. I just recently found out the hospital chaplain had led him to the Lord shortly before he died! I was wondering about his situation with Jesus ... Now I feel I will see him again too . I finished Sing 2 recently and the seen with Clay Calloway brings so much emotion it feels as if my past self is coming out, I have so many emotions I've never felt before with this song. Whole body chills every single time.

I know many people get mad at the band wagon fans who are only here because of Sing 2. But I don't get upset. Hardly any I grew up with knew songs from decades ago. Most older adults listen to the songs from their youth, and believe it to be the best music ever. But good music has been created across generations. I'll admit I don't give much music from today, much of a chance since there's not much heart or there is a bad message I don't like. But people still have talent. I'm grateful that Sing 2 brought many young people here and introduced them to get songs they may not have discovered on their own.

Two memories come to mind. One, in the spanish Cies Islands, in the camping bar, listening to this tune when it came out in 87. Two, working as a night shift barman in a London hotel in 97, watching a customer coming in and thinking "¿why seems this guy so familiar?" Slowly dawned on me that this is a form of gospel and so very relatable. Yes part of it dips into being a romantic love song about a woman, but for the most part it strikes me as someone searching their life and exploring their faith and not finding that spiritual awakening.

I first heard this song in the 1994 movie "Blown Away" with Jeff Bridges and Tommy Lee Jones, the arsonist/Irish Extremist bought a U2 tape while buying parts and supplies for his mission and then listened to it for the rest of the movie and it was his soundtrack. Don't know why it impacted me the way it did, but it did.

I know many people get mad at the band wagon fans who are only here because of Sing 2. But I don't get upset.
Hardly any I grew up with knew songs from decades ago. Most older adults listen to the songs from their youth, and believe it to be the best music ever. But good music has been created across generations.
I'll admit I don't give much music from today, much of a chance since there's not much heart or there is a bad message I don't like. But people still have talent. I'm grateful that Sing 2 brought many young people here and introduced them to get songs they may not have discovered on their own.
Super deep spiritual lyrics. Admits believing Jesus died the death he deserved, yet walks away saying " not what I'm looking for" very few musicians come out and boldy say it. They usually say it sublimally.. I like U2 ALOT, but to truly believe that and still walk away is beyond me. Can't wrap my mind around that one
