Here I was, a single UK guy, looking for any kind of Dancing Queen video because I'm the biggest ABBA fan ever, and I came across this incredible display of fun and togetherness that showed me how incredible the Woodlands, Texas community really is. We don't really have anything like "y'all" in Great Britain!

For anyone else with this sort of thing on their bucket list, please heed this experienced advice. Such an open air event requires a perimeter of speakers, 6, 8, 10, 12 of them if you can get them, each set at only a medium volume, instead of merely one rather loud pair. Please include at least one ground aimed, centrally located subwoofer, for results to be even better. The reason for this is that electronic signal travels much faster than sound. This will reduce the appearance of chaotic anarchy, in what might have been intended to be something beautifully choreographed. This is especially the case, if rehearsals have been consistently held inside. Although somewhat risky due to potentially low sound quality, for a "bang for the buck" value, you could use a low wattage radio transmitter, and as many battery powered boom box and car radios as can be mustered. Carefully select your frequency away from any high wattage radio stations, and you may be lucky. Happy dancing!
I have always thought of flash mobs as performances without prior notice to the spectators. Only the performers should know where to show up and the public should be surprised.
There’s a video of what i am reasonably sure are music students, who begin a flash mob of “Hallelujah chorus” at an indoor food court. Within seconds, almost everyone in the food court has joined them, standing up and joining in.
