Lydia, the youngest teacher in Tizi Ouzou, has been a valedictorian for three consecutive years. Coming from a small village in Tizi Ouzou, she shares her remarkable journey of overcoming challenges to achieve academic excellence in the capital. Lydia's story is deeply rooted in her Amazigh and Kabyle culture, as she beautifully narrates the traditions, customs, and rich history of her heritage, along with the importance of olives in her community. *About Pathos Public Speaking Club:*
Pathos is a vibrant and dynamic public speaking club that aims to empower individuals through the art of communication. We conduct our sessions at the American Institute in Algiers, the U.S. Embassy in Algiers, and the CCU (Centre Culturel Universitaire), providing a professional and supportive environment for our members to hone their public speaking skills. Our club is dedicated to fostering confidence, creativity, and leadership among our trainees.
Our sessions are designed to cater to a diverse group of individuals, from beginners to experienced speakers. Each session includes a variety of activities such as icebreakers, prepared speeches, impromptu speaking exercises, and group discussions. We focus on building strong communication skills, enhancing self-awareness, and encouraging personal growth.
At Pathos, we believe in the power of community and the importance of supportive networks. Our members come from different backgrounds and nationalities, creating a rich tapestry of experiences and perspectives. Through our sessions, we aim to build deep connections and a strong sense of teamwork among our trainees, fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and empowered.
