Labasa Municipal Market 21/4/23

It's quite ridiculous to see such offenses like loitering and moving around the market from corner to corner for no reason for a whole day has not been dealt seriously with the law and order at the labasa municipal market.
These has led many drug paddlers to use the municipal market as their hotspot to sell illicit drugs.
Mimicking how paddlers stood around tables and aisles despite the concern of some vendors, few Holy Family Secondary School students assault two old citizenry vendors after they resist to comply with them to vacate the table they were sitting at.
It is such a terrible scene to see , quite disturbing as severe injury can possibly happen if one of those two man being knocked down slammed against that concrete table.
Loitering in the market place it is an offense. It's illegal. You are not allowed to hang around in the market place . It is the place to only buy whatever we want and leave. Only vendors who have table and products should occupy the market every time.
What those students did to those two old man is quite rogue, disrespectful and unacceptable. It should not be tolerated.
