Thanks everybody for the warm response and kind words! Regarding ambient temperature and keeping cool, the faux fur that makes up the body suit has a breathable backing and I'm wearing a wicking base layer underneath to assist with cooling. It does get very warm inside, but if you move at a slow enough walking pace and there's a decent breeze, it's pretty easy to avoid overheating. I would never call it "comfortable," but you get used to the feeling after a while. That said, suiting/performing in these conditions (and in general) is a very demanding cardio activity, so being in good physical shape, knowing what it feels like to overdo it, and staying hydrated/taking frequent breaks are all important. I was glad that we were able to move to a shaded area at the end and I would not have gone out at all if the temperature/heat index had been too much higher. I'm really grateful that Stephen, Mal, and Chaz all tagged along and that Stephen put together this lovely montage to share! It's a great example of why we do this, and that's simply because it's a lot of fun for both the performer and the public.

I'm not a furry either, but I actually find furries to be fun and intelligent to talk to, no matter if their outfits might come as "weird" to the average Joe. I'm Norwegian, and furries are heavily frowned upon here, but I'm in the minority who respects them.
I just find it funny how most of the vlogs are video game/slice of life and this one is the furry episode. In my specific case, I’m also extremely grateful for the opportunity to document my friends’ lives and events - it’s fun not only to join in for things like this but also to capture and edit something completely new.

As a person whose been always kinda quiet about being a furry, seeing Jeff walk around in public in his fursuit (which looks amazing btw) without any judgement or harassment made me really happy. Those sweet old ladies asking questions and asking to take pictures definitely warmed my cold, jaded heart a little 😊
As someone who has worn a full fursuit in the summer, holy crap it feels so hot. I wore one in the middle of the fall when it was 30 degrees outside but wearing my suit made it feel like a mid-summer day. lol

Mad respect Jeff for being in that suit. I used to dress up in a suit at the swimming pool I used to work at and boy I never produced more sweat than I did on the 5 occasions that I dressed up as a swordfish and a dog.

I never understood the whole "furry thing," or why people are into furries. Then again, I'm also the type of person who doesn't judge people based on preferences or what they're into.
Whatever Stephen shows off on his vlogs is ultimately his choice. Sometimes he may touch upon news especially if it has impacts down to our lives or has a message for us to take action on, but only if he chooses to do so. This is ultimately a vlog of his life and the lives of friends and family.
Right now everyone is supercharged over it. Stephen adding his voice and opinions will not help. Not only that, but people come to these vlogs as a way to escape the news.
