I’d be interested in a video on what items to get and how to go about getting them from a shopping center during a bug in situation or something like that. Maybe like what to do if you need to hit a store during a panic or public unrest.
1. Have as much as you can already at home. 2. Stock up early before the masses panic. 3. His food and medical shopping list is provided in the links above. Keep a list and the distance to: hospitals, drug stores, food stores (of all type), gas stations, etc. Keep in mind that many Asian grocery stores also stock Butane stoves and the fuel for them. Asians stores will also sometimes stock lightweight pots more suitable for butane stoves rather than trying to use heavy cast iron on a lower BTU stove.
Just fyi, my former CO owns and operates this company, so you're supporting a veteran owned business created by someone with extensive field experience as well.
Found your channel looking up Battle Board products. I’m currently working on my own just in case binder and you’ve definitely gave me tons of ideas. Thank you!
I was going through your old videos. This comment is a bit too late. But I still enjoy this video. I got inspired by S2 UNDERGROUND, and I made my own battleboard. The wife played a good part too she did all the sawing with her sawing machine. And yes, these things are great for organizing and planning....great video, as always 😊👍
My two cents is that if I am going from point a to point b I should have pre-planned my primary and alternate routes. The system here shows great organizational skills, but very specific and detailed information could jeopardize your family or group should someone intent on stealing your stuff find it. That said, one book, I read a father on a business trip left a three ring binder in a gun safe for his family. This served to be an important guide for the family in his absence.
I really like it, you wasn't joking about the price, Ouch. I do believe it is well worth the price as to the things needed and keeping them ready to go. I will get one when I can afford it, I really like it, Thank You for sharing.
Thanks VERY much for the Google Doc. I've been working on my own Just In Case folder since you did the original video on it but this will help a LOT. Thanks Again!
Q. I live in Southern California where earthquakes are common. What plans do people make in terms of teenage kids getting home after a quake if cell phones don’t work? My teens don’t carry radios with them. Do they stay at dance 4 miles from home? Walk home? Wait for my wife or I to get them? Go home to a friends house? I really don’t have a good plan for this. Any suggestions?
You need pre-set locations. Try home first, but if you know home is in the no-go area, then you need a second and third location. You must be clear on who waits for who, you don't want both parties to be going from place to place missing each other. Have the most stable person maintain the meet up location, the less stable aka less prepared are more likely to wander away from the meet up rather than wait. Have set wait times before moving on the the next location, each location should be more away from the first.
This might be a dumb question but I see air vents in the pictures of the military vehicle that y’all are in. They have AC and heat. Just curious I would definitely have to have AC or at least just the fan blowing on my butt sweat an ass
We're you stationed in VA? I was born and raised in Woodbridge. Dad was stationed at Quantico. Most of my family is still in the Fairfax area. Miss it back there!
@@PreparedAirman Skyline Drive in the fall is a pretty special place. I have family out in Harrisonburg and Elkton. I could leave Az for that part of the country! It reminds me of when I was stationed in Germany for 6 ½ yrs.
Basically, thats a paper computer, kinda like doing it old school before computers, hell yeah go into more detail. Don't think I need to worry that much about it anymore, but JIC, you never know. The wife has everything wrote down in a 3 ring binder already, an has for 40 yrs. Its all about organization of everything we need an do. Thx for the vid bro.
Maybe good but at £390 I don’t think so. It doesn’t even look rugged or waterproof. For that money you could buy an equivalent size Pell case or knock off version and then customise it to do the same things. Edit: IM2220 case at £160 looks to provide better protective value then you just buy a standard £5 ring binder to put in it.
Checked out the price, yikes! Get your employer to buy it. Thanks for the binder info, I'll take a look at it and see what parts I can add to mine. Better to start with a dollar store binder than to never start at all. Keep as much of your info you can on a flash drive as a back up but also an easy way to update the printed page. Be careful with cloud storage due to hacking. Never depend on computer based data 100%.

You should check out CP Gear they have some very nice kit. Similar to the battle board. I have used their kit for years never had a problem with it.
The Canadian company? $95 Canadian to start with their binder plus options. I suggest Rite-In-The-Rain paper.

I definitely want to get some maps for our area.

CP Gear sells ones for $95 and you can add extras too it. That is $95 Canadian.

Bug out binders full of women. Just in case.
