Sir , Ma'am, I want to buy a Laptop under 60K. I am PhD student so I need a long-term use Laptop with good processor but also with very good durability. Also, battery is also important. Let me prioritise, Performance, Durability and Battery, these are top priority. I don't use hard programming or Video editing. Metal Body is must, preferably 14" size, preferably Dell or some other established brand. I will use mostly R , Stata Software for my reasearch and Large data sets like NSSO data sets in R or Stata. Hey! Since you mentioned Video Editing & 3D, more core count will definitely help & more VRAM will also help you. RTX 40 series have an advantage that 4050 has 6 GB VRAM, which is ideally enough in Laptops, whereas 4060 has 8 GB VRAM which is even better for 3D workflows. We personally would have recommended ASUS TUF F/A series, but TUF series is plagued with slightly bad thermals & overall bad chassis design. We've also seen some people run into display or motherboard issues on Reddit that's why we avoid recommending it in usual situations. But maybe in your situation, you can give it a thought. Both laptops have their trade offs. Ideally speaking, 12700H is more than good enough for Video Editing, so 4060 would be a good add on for any 3D based workflows. But 6 GB VRAM should also be decent enough for your day to day workloads of 3D. If your workflow is 70% Video/Photo Editing & 30% 3D, then go for Predator as it has better thermals, overall better design & chasis, and the boost clock of 13500 HX is a lot higher comparatively, which helps you scrub smoother in Premiere, AE, Davinci etc. Similarly, Vice Versa, If your workflow involves 70% 3D, then go for Asus TUF Series, because 8 GB VRAM will definitely help you in your day to day workloads. but remember, TUF ideally cannot sustain long 3D render times due to bad thermals. Our Conclusion - Go for Predator Neo 16, Long renders are also safe due to good thermals, & Higher clock speed will give you smoother Timelines in editing softwares. & Yes, 13500HX sirf naam naam ka i5 hai. So I understood a lot about seeing the series alphabet as a factor n realize for general use like I would be, I need a U processor. But currently in Asus most vivobook are showing 12th gen i5 with 12500H processor. I DO prefer longer battery option so was wondering wil H consume more battery power? Any H variant will consume more power. Go for U or P variant only. We highly recommend Samsung Galaxy Books for your use case as they have U & P based processors.

This is a very close gap, but since you're gonna use it mainly for Autocad, the more number of physical cores will definitely, help, and even though, on paper AMD says that it boosts higher, Intel actually boosts higher realistically in most laptops which will be very useful for your day to day tasks. Only reason to go with 7840HS instead pf 13620H are folowing: 1. As it has better architecture, you will get better battery life by 1 or 2 hours. kam dono me mileegi bcoz dedicated GPU hai, but Intel me thodi jyada kam hogi. 2. The power draw will be comparitively lesser & Integrated GPu of AMD is very very strong, but you wont need it since you already have dedicated GPU in your choice 4050/4060 Other than these 2 reasons, there is no reason to go with 7840HS. We would even recommend to go for the RTX 4060 8 GB variant instead of the RTX 4050 6 GB variant as it will be very helpful in opening heavier Autocad or 3Ds Max files. Baaki, if price becomes a factor, & sale me AMD vala jyada sasta hoga, then you can definitely go with the AMD variant, kyuki CPU performance me 2-3% ka hi frq ayega. For us Intel>AMD. Hey MRVAIV! Go for Predator. Ryzen 7000 series me is price me sirf 8 cores ayenge and it is not good enough in 2023 at this price. Intel is the better option, aka - Acer Predator Neo 16. Make sure to check Product details and ensure that it is the 13500HX variant. Asus TUF me Quality & build issues hain & thermals bhi jyada achhe nahi hain. So Overall, Intel is the better option here.

Any heavy application work, heavy software work, Video Editing, Photo Editing, 3D work, Rendering work or Game Designing work. All these works any creative work will require GPU. Ideally, if you want very good battery life on your laptop, then dont get a dedicated GPU. But if you want high performance, then dedicated GPU is required in most cases.

If it were 13th gen, then Intel variant is the better one. More physical cores, More multi core performance in real world and also better pricing for when you have to sell this laptop to get a new one. But when compared to 12th gen 12650H, 7840HS But if your budget is 80K, & your use case is gaming/GPU oriented, we would recommend going for Nitro V as it has 4050 6GB

Yes, That's a great laptop for 3D Animation. But if possible, try and get the 4060 variant. It will help your 3D workflows in the long run. 13700HX + 4050 is also good enough, but long time investment ke hisaab se 4050 ki 6 GB VRAM kam pad jaayegi. 8 GB kam nahi padegi jaldi 3D workflows me.

Sir , Ma'am, I want to buy a Laptop under 60K. I am PhD student so I need a long-term use Laptop with good processor but also with very good durability. Also, battery is also important. Let me prioritise, Performance, Durability and Battery, these are top priority. I don't use hard programming or Video editing. Metal Body is must, preferably 14" size, preferably Dell or some other established brand.
I will use mostly R , Stata Software for my reasearch and Large data sets like NSSO data sets in R or Stata.

Since you mentioned Video Editing & 3D, more core count will definitely help & more VRAM will also help you.
RTX 40 series have an advantage that 4050 has 6 GB VRAM, which is ideally enough in Laptops, whereas 4060 has 8 GB VRAM which is even better for 3D workflows.
We personally would have recommended ASUS TUF F/A series, but TUF series is plagued with slightly bad thermals & overall bad chassis design. We've also seen some people run into display or motherboard issues on Reddit that's why we avoid recommending it in usual situations. But maybe in your situation, you can give it a thought.
Both laptops have their trade offs. Ideally speaking, 12700H is more than good enough for Video Editing, so 4060 would be a good add on for any 3D based workflows. But 6 GB VRAM should also be decent enough for your day to day workloads of 3D.
If your workflow is 70% Video/Photo Editing & 30% 3D, then go for Predator as it has better thermals, overall better design & chasis, and the boost clock of 13500 HX is a lot higher comparatively, which helps you scrub smoother in Premiere, AE, Davinci etc.
Similarly, Vice Versa, If your workflow involves 70% 3D, then go for Asus TUF Series, because 8 GB VRAM will definitely help you in your day to day workloads. but remember, TUF ideally cannot sustain long 3D render times due to bad thermals.
Our Conclusion - Go for Predator Neo 16, Long renders are also safe due to good thermals, & Higher clock speed will give you smoother Timelines in editing softwares.
& Yes, 13500HX sirf naam naam ka i5 hai. It is a very powerful processor.

Any H variant will consume more power. Go for U or P variant only. We highly recommend Samsung Galaxy Books for your use case as they have U & P based processors.

I want to buy lenovo loq but there are 2 variants at same price one is with i7 13620h and one is with Ryzen 7 7840hs. Which one to buy please help i mostly use autocad sketchup and lumion etc architectural softwares
This is a very close gap, but since you're gonna use it mainly for Autocad, the more number of physical cores will definitely, help, and even though, on paper AMD says that it boosts higher, Intel actually boosts higher realistically in most laptops which will be very useful for your day to day tasks.
Only reason to go with 7840HS instead pf 13620H are folowing:
1. As it has better architecture, you will get better battery life by 1 or 2 hours. kam dono me mileegi bcoz dedicated GPU hai, but Intel me thodi jyada kam hogi.
2. The power draw will be comparitively lesser & Integrated GPu of AMD is very very strong, but you wont need it since you already have dedicated GPU in your choice 4050/4060
Other than these 2 reasons, there is no reason to go with 7840HS. We would even recommend to go for the RTX 4060 8 GB variant instead of the RTX 4050 6 GB variant as it will be very helpful in opening heavier Autocad or 3Ds Max files.
Baaki, if price becomes a factor, & sale me AMD vala jyada sasta hoga, then you can definitely go with the AMD variant, kyuki CPU performance me 2-3% ka hi frq ayega. For us Intel>AMD. Feel free to proceed as you see fit. Including links for your convenience:

Go for Predator. Ryzen 7000 series me is price me sirf 8 cores ayenge and it is not good enough in 2023 at this price.
Intel is the better option, aka - Acer Predator Neo 16. Make sure to check Product details and ensure that it is the 13500HX variant.
Asus TUF me Quality & build issues hain & thermals bhi jyada achhe nahi hain. So Overall, Intel is the better option here.

For which use case should I be having a graphic card other than gaming
Any heavy application work, heavy software work, Video Editing, Photo Editing, 3D work, Rendering work or Game Designing work. All these works any creative work will require GPU. Ideally, if you want very good battery life on your laptop, then dont get a dedicated GPU. But if you want high performance, then dedicated GPU is required in most cases.

The one you chose would not be a good option at 70K in 2023. Ryzen 7 5800H 5800H me sirf 8 core 16 threads hain & 3050 me sirf 4 GB VRAM milegi.

If it were 13th gen, then Intel variant is the better one. More physical cores, More multi core performance in real world and also better pricing for when you have to sell this laptop to get a new one.
But when compared to 12th gen 12650H, 7840HS
But if your budget is 80K, & your use case is gaming/GPU oriented, we would recommend going for Nitro V as it has 4050 6GB

Yes, That's a great laptop for 3D Animation. But if possible, try and get the 4060 variant. It will help your 3D workflows in the long run. 13700HX + 4050 is also good enough, but long time investment ke hisaab se 4050 ki 6 GB VRAM kam pad jaayegi. 8 GB kam nahi padegi jaldi 3D workflows me.
