@@anmol8729 i had formatted my pc before installing windows 10 so i dont know about data(photos, videos etc) loss as there was no data in my pc but after installing windows 10 some old versions of drive which was not compatible for windows 10 were missing like brightness,Bluetooth etc . I had to upgrade missing drive to latest version.

You are only updating your OS not your hardware.
If your Pc has only 4Gb ram than leave it..
It's Hangs a lot...

After working on updates it reached 48 %, then error msg came that it can not run on this hardware. My laptop is core i3, 4 GB Ram and 500 GB hard drive

1. First your current windows should be activate. Should not any windows water mark on desktop
2. Clean %temp% and temp folders and try to upgrade. It should work.
